The three people were welcomed with smiles. Like the last time Evelyn came, there were other volunteers present too. It was Sunday, and those who wanted to help had an easier time freeing their schedule. The children were also enjoying the free time before school resumed the next day.
It was obvious that Dinaia was not treated like a stranger. She must have come before accompanying Evelyn, and beyond that purpose, she didn't seem reluctant offering her help.
Jason was met with even more enthusiasm from the adults. He was cute, smart and sensible, a combination which made him well-liked. He didn't remain with his mother and his godmother. Instead, he went to his friends from the orphanage to play.
As the two women were helping as they could, they saw the headmistress with a gentle smile on her face come outside. She surveyed the crowd with fondness, not forgetting to reprimand those in the midst of being too playful.
