With his smile undiminished, Daemon narrated:
"I took to reading at that time. Since school could not teach me much, I decided and started to learn by myself."
"Woah."
Jason looked impressed. In his short life, he had been taught to learn under guidance, and he had yet to develop the curiosity and the drive to look further for his own betterment, or at least interest.
"What did you read?"
Daemon smiled slightly:
"Well, I started with the books for upperclassmen. You know I am an orphan, right?"
The boy nodded:
"Mom said you grew up in "Blue Peak Orphanage"."
Without losing his smile, Daemon nodded:
"Yes, and I didn't have the means to pursue other interests, so I borrowed the school books of the older kids."
"Was it interesting?"
"Haha, at least it was not boring."
"Oh, okay."
