Daemon frowned because of the absence of any answer for the message he had sent. Kids were usually impatient, and even if Jason hadn't been shown his previous message, he thought Evelyn would have tried to contact him.
Daemon thought about the matter and couldn't resist letting a frown appear on his face. Did Dinaia, the good sister of the mother of his son, go against what he asked her? Though he knew that it might also just be Evelyn herself deciding not to contact him.
He changed his mind, and wrote a message that he sent to Evelyn. But he still took his old ID card to check whether he had gotten the number wrong. Because given that she had not changed it since she got it years ago, what he had in his memory, to which he sent the first message, should not be erroneous.
