A metallic gray SUV was driving on the road, following the traffic for a certain destination. It was Daemon's car, but he was not the one driving it.
Evelyn was behind the steering wheel inside the car, and by her side, sat another woman who was around the same age as her, maybe only a few years younger.
It was Avrye, with her reddish brown hair tied in a ponytail, but with her usually outgoing personality a little restrained.
Evelyn slowed the car down at the sight of the tail lights of the car in front of her lighting up, and turned to her new assistant. She smiled, her eyes holding a bit of curiosity:
"Why do you seem nervous, Avrye?"
Avrye finally stopped stealing glances at her new superior, and fully turned to her. Her nervousness, however, didn't diminish as she replied with a question instead:
"Miss Softsnow, did you ask for me to be your assistant?"
