The breeze was cool and pleasant, blowing softly over the wide rooftop. It was an enjoyable condition to take a walk in, and Daemon was on the rooftop with Lady Moonfrost at his arm. They came to a stop at the edge of the open rooftop, looking at the city sprawling at their feet.
The buildings around were not that tall in height, leaving the completion for the tallest one to the ones in the middle of the city. So the view was kind of open, even if only on more humans' creations, along with humans themselves who were looking small down below.
The old lady had a smile on her face, and in an elderly tone, she turned to look at Daemon as she chided him:
"I can't believe you let an old woman like me take the initiative to come see you."
Daemon was not flustered. He simply nodded, and acknowledged his wrongs:
"It was an oversight on my part."
Seeing his calm, the white-haired lady shook her head:
"You don't look like a young man at all."
