The way Ryan called Connel was telling.
Since the latter had wanted to play it smart while deflecting any responsibility, Ryan simply took it as the whole family going against Furors Energy. That meant that there would be war, and as young as a giant could be, it remained a giant.
Connel's eyes narrowed, this time not in a deliberate act, but due to what Ryan was implying with his change of tone.
He took a deep breath, and like the man beside him who was now relegated to the background, he steeled himself, and nodded with an elegant air of superiority:
