It was the next day, and Blandon entered Daemon's office after knocking on the door.
"Sir, your appointment of thirty past ten is here."
Daemon didn't raise his head from what he was doing, but his reply was clear:
"Bring her in."
"Understood."
Blandon left, and he came back not long after, with the sharp sound of heels striking the ground another confirmation of the gender of the appointment.
Daemon raised his head to look at Cynthia walking into his office. He didn't seem to react to her new style, nor to the newfound coldness she was portraying.
This time, she had a white sleeveless top with a V shaped collar of the same attractive red color as her lips. And below, she had a knee length skirt of the same red, with dark high heels, and a designer bag of a darker shade to its red.
While Blandon left to get drinks, Cynthia sat down.
"It's been a while, Mr Peak."
