Chapter 1 - Episode 1

In the heart of the serene forest, resided a joyous family. Honed by their daily tasks, the diligent parents earned their livelihood as woodcutters. Blessed with two delightful children, a boy and a girl, their mornings were filled with harmony and purpose.

With the sun's first rays, the dedicated parents rose from their slumber to prepare for the day that lay ahead. The mother skillfully whipped up a stack of delectable pancakes, while the father meticulously sharpened their trusty tools, essential for the task of cutting wood.

Meanwhile, the two children, imbued with eagerness for knowledge, readied themselves for school. After refreshing themselves with a soothing bath and relishing a hearty breakfast, they embarked on their path to education. However, their journey to school required traversing through the enchanting embrace of the forest, adding an element of mystique to their daily routine.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, an air of intrigue filled the atmosphere, heightening their senses. Suddenly, a gust of wind whipped through the trees, playfully plucking the little boy's hat from his head. Startled, their gazes fell upon an ethereal light emanating from a hidden cave within a mysterious tree, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Curiosity piqued, their hearts quickened as they cautiously approached the source of both illumination and enchantment. A melodious voice, gentle yet alluring, echoed through the air, inviting them to partake in a tea-time gathering. "Hello, dear friends," the voice beckoned, "the ancient trees have been whispering of your destined arrival. Will you honor me with your presence and share in some tea and delectable treats?"

Taken aback by the unexpected invitation, the children exchanged uncertain glances, torn between intrigue and a gnawing sense of unease. Their instincts prickled with caution, questioning the nature of this encounter. Should they succumb to the temptation of the shimmering light and the honeyed voice, or heed the faint whispers of doubt that tinged the edge of their consciousness?

"But mother said, don't trust strangers," the boy said wearily, his voice laced with caution.

"It's fine," the little girl replied, her eyes fixated on the tantalizing cakes before them, her mouth watering in anticipation. "And look, the sweet little cakes seem so tasty!"

"Come, children, you don't have to be afraid," the cheerful voice reassured them. "I made them especially for you."

Though their instincts nudged at their hesitation, the enchanting aroma of the cakes swayed their doubts. The children, unable to resist the lure of the treats, accepted the invitation and devoured the delectable morsels. It was then that their gaze fell upon a shimmering flower, emanating an aura of vibrant magic. The voice noticed their enchantment with the flower.

"Do you want it?" the voice inquired, as a mysterious smile played across its face.

The children nodded in awe, captivated by the flower's beauty. Yet, their joy was short-lived as the voice issued a reminder of time slipping away, the setting sun casting a golden hue upon their surroundings.

Disappointment clouded their faces at the sudden reality check, their desires denied. Sensing their dejection, the voice continued, its tone shifting to seriousness.

"Well, you can get it back. Now listen carefully," the voice urged, its words carrying a sense of purpose. "There is something I need to give you." From the branches above, a tiny leaf-like trumpet emerged.

"I want you two to keep this carefully and not allow anyone to know about it. When you find yourselves back in the forest and hear the whispers of the breeze, I need you to blow the trumpet three times. It will serve as a call, and I shall guide you back here."

The children's eyes widened with a mix of astonishment and determination. Today's events had left an indelible mark of wonder upon their young souls. Excitement surged within them as they yearned to return home and share their extraordinary tale with their parents.

With hearts brimming with newfound knowledge and the small leaf-like trumpet clutched securely in their hands, they listened attentively. The prospect of blowing the trumpet and reuniting with the enchanting voice stirred their spirits, a curious blend of apprehension and eagerness fueling their anticipation.

And so, the children bid farewell to the mysterious creature, their heads held high and their thoughts filled with promises of fantastical reunions. As they ventured back through the forest's embrace, the echo of the voice's instructions resonated within their hearts, guiding their steps toward home, where an extraordinary tale awaited their eager ears.

"Mother, Father, we're home!" exclaimed the two children, their voices filled with a sense of urgency.

"Oh, you're a little bit late. Come inside," said the mother, her voice laced with a hint of concern, though a loving smile graced her face.

As they gathered around the supper table, the mother's eyes bore into the children with a mix of worry and curiosity. "How was school?" she inquired, expecting tales of the day's ordinary adventures.

"Oh, we didn't make it to school," the little boy blurted out abruptly, his eyes wide with an aura of mystery.

"A mysterious voice invited us for a cup of tea," added the little girl, her tone hushed yet tinged with excitement.

The mother's expression shifted into a mix of surprise and alarm. Displeasure creased her brow, and her voice carried a tinge of anger as she sharply addressed the children. "Listen, did I not tell you to never talk to strangers, even if they offer you something?"

"But Mother, it only offered us treats, and they were so delicious," the little girl tried to explain, her voice tinged with innocence.

"No!" the mother interjected firmly, cutting off any further justification. "Listen, something bad might happen to you. Honey, I want you to take the kids to school tomorrow," she instructed with a tone of urgency, her words laden with concern.

The father nodded, his face mirroring the gravity of the situation. A silent understanding passed between the parents, their shared worry weighing heavily upon their hearts.

Later, in the quiet of the night while the children peacefully slumbered, the parents sat together, their voices hushed yet filled with an undertone of urgency.

"Something bad might happen to them," the mother whispered, her voice trembling with fear. "Encountering those things, make sure you protect them."

"I got it, don't worry, honey," replied the father, his voice steady yet laced with determination. "I will do everything in my power to keep them safe."

As they resolutely prepared for the challenges that lay ahead, the echo of their conversation lingered in the air, stirring a thrilling undercurrent of anticipation. The impending day held a sense of danger and the unknown, woven with the weight of a parent's unwavering protection.
