Michael was about to swap seats with Cole when the PA system crackled, and all the lights in the school turned red, sending waves of alarm through the whole school. They looked up, with confusion on their faces.
Suddenly, ten military officials sprinted down the hallway, rushing past the classroom toward the exit.
"Red Alert: All students are required to go to their dorms now. There has been an infiltration into the academy. Lockdown mode will be activated from now." The announcement repeated.
Michael, Blake, Cole, and Dane exchanged bewildered glances. "Infiltration? In the academy?" Dane asked with fear on his face. Just then, they noticed that Eden and the other two boys had vanished without a trace.
