He looks around, desperately searching for a clue or a hint as to where he is, to no avail... but as he's searching he notices in the distance hidden behind the thick of some bushes, a weird old lady standing hunchbacked holding her quivering body up with her cane alone.
Andor looks around again noticing that the old lady is the only living thing around, with no other options he starts to walk towards her, but suddenly the old woman's face becomes sharp she raises her cane and a weird golden light emanates from it, Andor falls to his knees in fear.
But then, the light shoots out from her cane narrowly avoiding Andor, noticing a stinging feeling on his face, He touches his cheek... and blood falls onto his finger, he screams out to the old lady, "WAIT WAIT, i'm not dangerous, I don't know how I got here, please don't hurt me!..."
The old lady doesn't move an inch aiming her staff at him again, Andor thinks this it… his final moments, but, the old lady puts her cane down, slowly approaching him, every step makes Andor think she'll plummet to the earth screaming about her hip, but she reaches him and helps him up, "I'm sorry boy... I was just testing you, this is a dangerous forest y'see if you couldn't avoid that, then you might've well had died."
"You've impressed me with your reflexes, become my apprentice" Andor reflects on the gall of this old lady, to suddenly attack him, and then to be all happy-go lucky ask him to be his apprentice… of course he had to say, "Yes, i'd be honored"
As soon as he accepted the weird ladies apprenticeship a window popped up in front of him, 'New Character: Sage Of The Forest Unlocked' under these words were a couple quests with progress bars, 'Learn three spells 0/3' 'Clean up the hut 0/3' he didn't yet know how hard these quests would be with unearned bravado he thought he would easily learn three spells.
Three months later, he stares at the same window with dead eyes, 'Learn Three Spells 1/3' 'Clean Up The Hut 23/100' breaking him out of his stupor was the old lady, but she didn't look as old as she once did, she looked more like she was in her 20's now, it was after the first month of learning she suddenly got younger, I was a bit too confused to question it, and lost my window to ask.
She placed a simple plate of scrambled eggs with a side of bacon on the wooden table we always ate at, I was a bit tired of the same meal for three months but I'm too much of a coward to complain, "Master, can I learn a second spell… fireball is cool but you must know some others you could teach me, like that spell you used when we first met"
The old lady stared at me, her eyebrows raising, "You think you can handle that l
