Brianna neatly folded the cloths in the laundry basket.
"Back to earth Anna I've been calling your name" Tina,Brianna's best friend snapped.
"Am so sorry dear"
"Anna come on,you've been like this since you got back,tell me what's wrong"
Tina asked softly.
Brianna sighed and turned to face Tina,
"Its my boss"
"What about your boss?"
Brianna went on to explain what happened.
"Ouch,that was harsh" said Tina trying to stiffle her laughter.
"Come on its not funny" Brianna smiled hitting Tina with a cloth.
"Come here babe" said Tina dragging Brianna to the couch.
"What you need right now is a man. A good man."
"I know,..but no one wants me after learning about Britney i also want to be loved and kissed,and cuddled and taken care of"
"Awwnh don't worry dear, we are going to find you the perfect man,on tinder app."
Brianna's eyes widened after hearing Tina's words,why didn't she think of that.those dating apps really work quite well.
"You think its gonna work?"
Asked Brianna with a hint of uncertainty in her voice.
"Of course,let's do it right now" Tina smiled.but was cut off when the cry of a baby was heard.
"Oops she's up already" Brianna smiled and went to the mini crib in the living room,and picked a very cute and plumppy looking baby girl up,the baby has a bright smile on her face when Brianna picked her up.
"Hey Britney,you're up already " Brianna cooed and placed a kiss on her face.
The baby giggled happily and placed a sloppy kiss on Brianna's face.
She went to the kitchen and started preparing baby milk for Britney,Britney cooed loudly and excitedly when she saw her milk.Brianna poured the content in the feeding bottle and headed to the sitting room.
Tina readily collected Britney.
"Hey little bean,you're awake"
"Here feed her" Brianna said,giving the bottle to Tina.
"I've already set your profile up,I've put your pic and everything,
Now all you gotta do is go through the male pics and make your choice."
"I hope it works"
THE FOLLOWING DAY.
Brianna went to the office with a smile on her face. And everyone noticed.
The Carlos couldn't help buy ask.
"What's making you so happy today"
Asked Carlos.
He leaned on the wall watching her make coffee for his boss.
"Well guess" She beamed.
"You won a lottery?"
"Ah nope silly. Am going on a date later tonight" she grinned.
And Carlos eyes lit up.
"Really? Thats great news,who is the lucky man"
"Hmm well.." She drawled scratching the back of her neck,
"Its a blind date" She added.
"Wow, really!! thats great,I wish you luck" he smiled.
"Thanks"
He watched her leave with a bright smile on her face.
'Why is she so excited about a blind date'
He wondered.
Even the boss couldn't help but notice Brianna's excitement.
Shortly after she left,Carlos came in.
"Why is she so happy" Jason couldn't help but ask.
"Well she's going on a blind date tonight sir"
Alarm bells rang in Jason's head when he heard that.
There's no way he'll allow her go on that date over his dead body.
"You'll represent me in the meeting in Dallas tonight"
"What? I thought we canceled that meeting,you said the meeting in Germany is more important,"
"I've changed my mind" said Jason nonchalantly.
"B-b-but who's is going to accompany you to Germany sir" asked Carlos,he's confused on his boss sudden change in decisions.
"Brianna"
Carlos was shocked,Brianna? Why?
"sir Brianna ? B-but-"
One glare from Jason is enough to shut Carlos up.
Carlos finally put the dots together and smiled.
"Yes boss!" He grinned showing all teeth's.
Brianna was devasted when she heard the news,why is her boss being so cruel,why would he make her travel to Germany with him,tonight of all days,why?
She's gonna have to cancel her date,and she feels really awful about it.
Carlos said they'll be in Germany for only two days.
God that's long.
She called Tina and arranged how to take care of Britney while she's away.
She also pleaded with Tina to dress like her and go to the date in her place tonight.
Tina disagreed at first,she can't pretend to be Brianna,Brianna is a classy lady,while she is a tomboy lady.
But after much persuation she finally agreed.Britney would be with her baby sitter tonight,and after the date,Tina would pick her up.
Brianna sighed in relief when she arrannged everything.she wonder how'll she'll cope with her strict boss for 48 hours.
And she's very nervous,she has never left New York and now she's leaving the whole country.
Jasmin's heart skipped a beat,she gritted her teeth and marched out angrily,she can't believe Sawyer chose to believe Caleb over her.
"Why would Jasmin do this, I mean, she knows how much I value my relationship."
Said sawyer with a soft sob, running her finger through her hair.
"I was also shocked"
He said clearly faking it,but she won't understand cause she's blindedby love already.
TEDDY'S APARTMENT
Teddy was casually sitting on the couch,he took a break from school focusing his attention on the shit online,He's trying to find prove that he's innocent,he took Carl to his nanny and came back to his house he doesn't wanna go to the Lee mansion and face his dads wife
He heard an urgent knock on his door and furrowed his brow,he's not expecting anyone.
He put on his flip flop and went to open the door,immediately he opened the door,a small soft figure pounced on him,they both would have fall if it wasn't for his stamina.
"Hey baby what happened" his asked while kicking the door close with jasmine hanging onto his body like a koala.
He sat on the couch and she was straddling him,she slowly raised her head and teddy's heart drop when he saw the tears in her eyes.
"Why didn't you come to school,I've been worried sick about you"
Teddy felt sweet knowing she's worried about him,
"Is that why you're crying?"
Jasmine shook her head and slowly got up from his laps.she blushed realizing the position they sat down.
"What happened baby" he said in a soothing voice while tucking her hair behind her ear,making her cheeks flush and her heart racing.
But she quickly came back to her senses remembering the issue at hand.
"Teddy, Caleb is really dangerous,he threatened to kill me" said jasmine worriedly.
"WHAT!! When why , how dare he"
Teddy exclaimed, angrily he could feel his blood boiling, how dare that motherfucking drug addict,he never wanted to get involved in Caleb matters,but Caleb had touch his bottom line.
Jasmine went on to explain what happened.
"And sawyer won't even believe me" she pouted feeling very wronged.
Teddy pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back soothingly, he felt his blood really boiling right now.
"You have to tell your dad"
"Yeah sure"
Teddy was fuming in anger, his blood was boiling, Caleb that hooligan how dare he threaten his girlfriend,uh ah even if she's not officially his girlfriend yet,he's gonna ask her out soon.
"Calm down jazz am gonna take care of this" he cooed giving her a back rub
Their moment was interrupted with a knock on the door. They both looked at each other wondering who is at the door.
Teddy got up from the couch and went to open the door,low and behold two cops stood at his door post. His furrowed his brow wondering why they are here.
"Teddy Lee?" One of the cops asked.
"Yeah" he answered.
"You have to come with us to the station for some questioning"
"What,questioning about what?"
"You're a prime suspect to the rape and assault of one miss Evie"
Teddy shook his head in disbelief what's happening,why's all these shits happening.swears he feel like strangling that bitch..
"Fine lead the way" he grunted with an eye roll.one misbehauour from him would make the news headlines the next day.
"what! no Teddy, you can't go with them" Jasmine shrieked,Panic written all over her face.
Teddy turned to face her. He gave her a tight hug,whispering reassuring words to her.
"Don't worry,they are not arresting me"
"This is not fair,you're innocent" she said with voice breaking at the edge.
Teddy hugged her again and told her to inform Brandon.
He kissed her hair.
And she watched helplessly as he went into the police car.
"What's all this,oh gosh" she whispered cleaning a lone tear that slipped from her eyes.
