The prelude to God valley incident II
//Year 1485 September 6th,
"I can't believe that we are already reaching the last island on the log pose..." Gabban muttered under his breath.
"Our journey seems to end here. Who would have thought that this would be so short." Rayleigh wondered. Adventure has always been the main focus of the Roger pirates. Reaching the final island on the log pose might be end of their journey. They might continue to sail, but they will never feel the previous thrill ever again.
Rayleigh glanced at his captain. The man who he admired. The man who changed his life. Looking back at the time, when they first met each other, Rayleigh felt nostalgic.
He could already see the island in the distance. The island that was supposed to be the final island, that one can reach following the log pose.
And he could see that while Roger was excited, he was not that happy. In fact none of them were happy.
Oro Jackson slowly neared the island. The ship was built not long ago when they entered the new world by one of the most amazing ship builders. And it is about to reach the end of the grand line.
Roger stood at the front deck looking at the slowly approaching Island. He has a gut feeling that there is no way his adventur is going to end so soon....
The island's name was Lode star Island. It is said that no marine or pirate has set foot on this Island in last century. Being the last Island, that one could reach with the help of a log pose, it wasn't easy to reach the place.
As the ship neared the island Rayleigh started looking for a good place to dock the ship. Roger spread his observation haki around The Island. It was so big that he failed to cover the entire Island with his haki. But the region he could search, has no sign of sentient being. While he was carefully observing the island, the reach of his haki, finally reached the centre of the island. At that moment he felt a very strong presence in the middle of the island along with the peculiar feeling he usually feels when he is near those mystery stones (Roger poneglyphs).
In the Island where he felt know human presence, the presence of these two things, made him very excited.
"Shihahahahaha ! It seems that we will find something will interesting in this Island !" Roger laughed loudly. His previous somber mood was replaced with complete excitement. It attracted the attention of Rayleigh and the others.
"Did you feel something interesting with your observation haki ?" Rayleigh asked Roger. The range of his observation haki was inferior to his captain. So he decided to ask him.
"Yeah, I feel someone very strong in the middle of the island. This mystery person might be stronger than me. But that's not all there is also a mystery stone near that person." Roger said like a child who has found a New exciting game to play.

The new Island has been untouched by any human since the last century. Or at least that's what the myth says about the island.
After exploring the coastline which was filled with many unique looking rocks, Roger pirates went towards the centre of the island. The presence has not moved anywhere ever since they reached the place. Seemingly waiting for them to reach out to it.
True to Roger's expectation when they reached the middle of the island, they found an old cube like structure. It was massive.
Entering the structure they found it surprisingly well lit for a closed off place with just the open entrance. There were many small windows all around the structure allowing the sunlight to pass through. It look like thousands and thousands of small burning candles are lightening up the hollow structure.
In the middle of the structure on a golden pedestal, there was the large blue coloured mystery cube.
A woman was sitting on the top of the mystery cube.
Both parties stared at each other before they started flexing their colour of the supreme king simultaneously. Although they seemed evenly matched in terms of willpower, but Roger knew better. He was damn sure that the woman was holding back and purposefully matching his own intensity.
With his recently acquired future sight, Roger saw the woman retrieving her haki the moment he does. That means in terms of observation haki, she was superior as well.
Without seeing the point of continuing the flexing that he obviously lost, Rogers retreated his haki. The woman on top of the poneglyph stopped as well.
The woman jumped down from the top of the poneglyph.
"Before we start fighting or talking.... All of you, come here." Maki said like a mother talking to the children.
All of the Roger pirates instinctively obeyed without arguing.

"Alright...Say cheese..."
*Kachak*
"Wait a minute ! What the hell happened right now ?"
"Yeah ! Why did you take our picture ?"
"Who the hell are you ?"
Gabban, Roger and Rayleigh asked respectively.
From clashing their colour of the supreme king moments ago, they suddenly decided to click pictures !
"I clicked the your pictures."
"I took it to publish in the world economic newspaper."
"I am Monkey D Maki, but you might know me as the aunt of your buddy Garp and the founder of world economic newspaper."
Maki answer their question one by one.
"Wait ! You are the aunt of that fool Garp ?"
"The founder of world economic newspaper ?"
"Damn ! If I ignore those scars, then you are smoking hot for an old hag !" This time, Roger, Rayleigh and Gabban spoke respectively.
"Yes."
"Yes."
*Boom* "I am only 102 years old you brat !" Maki answered Roger and Rayleigh politely while smacking down Gabban.
"Wait more importantly, how did you get here ?" Rayleigh skillfully ignored Gabban who is rolling on the ground while clutching his head and crying the tears of crocodile. Instead he asked the most important question in his mind.
"Have you never heard this famous phrase before ?
Cameraman never dies." Maki said proudly.
"...."
"Alright jokes aside.... Here is the thing...."
Unknown to the Roger pirates, Maki started feeding them some truths and some half lies, in order to fullfil her devious plot.
