Seven hundred years of war that has never ended
The year 1424 is considered as the Black year of the world government. Thirty six Government affiliated countries withdrew their affiliation with the word government. The Marine organisation, which was considered as the limbs of the world government got almost destroyed. More than thirty vice admirals left the marines and became pirates. No one knew what happened. But the year was full of chaos. The world government did everything it could to suppress the chaos. Cp agents were sent on killing sprees. Some loyal marines did the same. Out of thirty six countries, seven got erased out of map, due to the courtesy of buster calls.
But the attempts to eradicate the other nations failed miserably. The control that has been established by the world government shattered completely. People who have forgotten everything about the great war were forced to rethink the stance of the world government.
War errupted in many places. Many survived but some did not.
But at the end, pulling every dirty trick in their hands, the world government managed to suppress the news of what happened in the
G 5 base.
But everyone knew that the news has just been suppressed. Not completely erased. After the six long months of chaos ended the world government was left crippled. More than half of the marines have left due to the shear carnage created by the world government that surpassed even the chaos spreaded by pirates.
The number of pirates increased drastically. All of this happened because of the fault of the world government. Even though Rocks D Squid died, he delivered a severe blow to the world government, which will take at least a century to recover.
Even after the black year ended the government continued to secretly hunt down all of the people that were present in the execution ground. But of course a certain black cat continued to destroy their plans.
Even though the government managed to suppress the flame they never managed to completely extinguish it.
As the evil side of the world government came out many people started questioning the world Government and their system. Marines also faced a lot of problems in recruiting new soldiers as people became doubtful about the true purpose of the Marines.
In order to clean up the people who have seen Imu, the world government hit their own legs with their axe.

//Year 1427 December 2nd, Beehive island
In a bar full of pirates, in the city of Hachinosu, A tall woman was quietly drinking alcohol in a corner. The woman was unusually tall. And due to the scars on her face and the air of danger around her, the pirates in the bar were subconsciously avoiding her.
But an old man came to sit beside her.
"I didn't know that you will be my client this time..." The old man said after taking a gulp of rum.
On the other hand, Maki emptied her fourth bottle of vodka.
"I don't want to take your services either, Marquez. But this time I have no other option." Maki said slowly.
"I am not thrilled to work with you either. Like that squid brat, you are nothing but trouble.
*Sigh* so what do you want this time the great demon lord ?" The old man named Marquez asked Maki.
"I want the information about the location of origin blood. I am ready to pay one billion for it." Maki said casually.
"I would appreciate it if you don't talk about 'that' so casually.
But remember this. What happened with Squid, was just an accident. It was your luck that he found out about that thing. I used to be his vice captain. And that's the only reason I know about it. But if you are asking about it's location, then you have come to the wrong person.
But before I talk more, tell me what do you know about the origin blood ?" Marquez asked Maki.
"Kōkan Kōkan no mi. A paramecia type devil fruit that existed seven hundred years ago, during the void century. This fruit allowed the user to have equivalent exchange of any concept. That's all I know. And using some short of ancient technology called origin blood, the monsters at the top have been sharing the ability of this fruit without getting any backlash. That's how they could teleport." Maki told Marquez.
"*Sigh* So he hasn't told you everything... huh ? Let's go somewhere private. I will tell you about the night when Rocks D Squid lost his everything...." Marquez told Maki and stood up to leave the bar.

"In the year 1399, two brothers known as Rocks brothers went to the sea as explorer pirates from East blue. The elder brother was 17 years old while the younger one was 13.
Both the brothers have crazy love for treasure hunting.
Many like minded people, including myself, from all around the east blue joined them in their endeavour.
While exploring various Islands in East blue, for more than a year, we found many hidden treasures in many uninhabited island. After our success in the east blue, both of them were very excited to explore the rest of the seas. But before going to the grand line, the younger brother wanted to see the so called largest bridge in the world, the Tequila Wolf. The older brother agreed. The bridge in itself was a great mystery despite being one of the main reason behind the popularity of east blue.
But what we didn't know, was the surprise waiting for them.
Since the construction point of the Tequila Wolf has nothing to explore, we decided to go to the beginning. The place where the construction has started. Despite it's importance, the security of the world government was poor. So we managed to sneak in. Out of our seven crew members, three of us, me, the vice captain, Rocks D Kraken and Rocks D Squid went to explore the remnants of the island.
During our exploration of the Island full of various expensive minerals, by accidentally activating a trap door we found a secret pathway in the barren Island.
But the trap door also warned the guards stationed in the island. With no where to run, three of them entered the trap door. And that moment everything changed.
The trap door led us to a lot of stairs. After going down for three hours straight, we reached the end. At the end of the trap door, we found a massive golden cube as well as a massive library. And as soon as we reached there, someone started to scream in Squid's head. I still don't know what it was. But it was causing him a lot of pain. The marines are closing in, and we have no other way to escape. But suddenly quid stood up and clutching his ears went to a corner of the room and pressed a specific area of the book shelf as if he knew, exactly what he was doing. But as soon as he pressed it, bright red light completely blinded me and I fainted.
By the time I woke up, Squid was crying becide me vowing to destroy the world government over and over again. After I recovered we got separated. And for next five years, I didn't hear anything about him.
Back then I didn't know what exactly happened. But when he returned, he told me what happened that day. He then invited me in his journey to destroy the world government. And I agreed.
You see, the origin blood was a technology created to share the power of useful devil fruits among multiple people. According to Squid, it was invented by the ancient Kingdom. Back then, the 20 Kingdoms, especially Imu and the five elders, have stolen some of their technologies to use against them. And the origin blood was the one of them. But because they didn't know about the core of the technology, they didn't manage to use it to its fullest potential.
The island where the Tequila Wolf had started was the place where the ancient kingdom had hidden one of their ancient weapons, the Uranus. While the world government has found about Uranus they were unaware about the poneglyphs hidden in that place as well as about the hidden room. And above all else, they have hidden some amount of origin blood in that room as well.
In just five years, Squid had managed to not only uncover a large part of our history, but also learnt how to read the poneglyphs.

I think you know the rest of the story." Marquez finished his tale.
"Yes..." Maki answered.
"Although we never managed to reach the last island on our own, but the knowledge we found is as important as our true history. The knowledge of the true strength of the world government.
Squid is dead. And with him, the origin blood as well." Marquez told solemnly.
"I understand. I think I know where should I go next." Maki said as she stood up from the beach.
