The story of a Doctor in the North blue
Ever since Trafalgar Maroon learnt that is true name is Trafalgar D Maroon, his life has gotten more complicated. Before his only family member, his great grandma died from old age, she told him about his true family name. It's Trafalgar D Maroon. But they have hidden the D from their name, in order to escape from the clutches of the world government.
His grandmother didn't tell him the details but if he wants to survive then he was supposed to keep that D a secret.
He didn't question his great grandma back then. At least not in her death bed. But it was always in her mind how a simple letter can affect a person's life ?
But his dream was not searching for the answer of that question. His dream was to become a doctor and save as much people as he can. He wanted to standardize the medicines so that in the entire world only one type of medicine can be produced. It would have solved a lot of problem. That's why after completing his studies he came to Flmvence. A kingdom in the north blue originally popular for it's medical facility. Due to his knowledge and accuracy, Maroon managed to become one of the best surgeons as well as medicine specialist in the entire Island. After becoming famous he tried to gather doctors from different fields with great experties in their own field and shared his idea about a common medicine standard. It will not only help the doctors all over the world to learn and study medicines properly but also help many patients who are not getting proper medicine from the local doctors.
At first the idea faced some resistance from some older doctors who didn't like the fact that someone younger than them has reached great heights that took them years of hard work to reach. But after a couple of years of try, Maroon finally succeeded in his idea. Many doctors from all over the world realised the importance and benefits of his idea. Some of the business tycoons saw it as an opportunity to open a drug industry and produce medicines that will be accepted over the entire world.
This was an idea where many people were going to profit. So ultimately in 1407, under the supervision of the world government, the world medical council is formed. On that same here they also passed the approval of the standardisation of some of the medicines all over the world.
That year Maroon became the chairman of the council. He finally took a big step towards his goal.
For a short period of time, Maroon has everything in his life that he wanted.
Wealth, fame and a sexy girlfriend, Dr Trafalgar Maroon, has obtained everything that a common man wants.
Next year in the late march, he got the good news that his girlfriend was carrying a child in her womb who will call him father in the future. So taking some time off from his work Maroon was planning for his own wedding.
But life was not fair. At least not for him.

In 1406 mid December, Amber lead, a rare ore was found in flemvance.
It happened when after an earthquake due to landslide, the South part of the island collapsed the year before that. In the next year, plants of that part of the land was found to be a beautiful shade of white. So with the help of the world government, the royal family searched for the reason for the phenomena. After searching in the South part of the island, they discovered a large underground mine of amber lead.
Amber Lead was a naturally occurring ore that made the soil and plants of the land where it was found a beautiful shade of white, said to be like a fairytale kingdom of snow.
Products containing Amber Lead possessed a shiny white coating that made it a highly-coveted mineral, leading to mining operations in Flevance which allowed the city's economy to flourish. The mineral would be used to color a wide range of products, including wall paint, pottery, makeup, and weapons.
In just six months, the growth of the economy was obvious.
But during this growth, a patient with rare skin disease appeared in front of doctor Trafalgar Maroon.
It was the first time Maroon was seeing such a disease. It was similar to a rare genetic condition where the sensitivity of the skin increases to an abnormal degree. But the damage that has been done to the body of the patient was clearly the effect of a highly toxic material.
It attracted the interest of Maroon, who wanted to know about the new toxic material.
So even when his pregnant wife wanted all of his attention to herself, Maroon used to find some time in order to research on that specific poison.
After a lot of effort, Maroon finally found the origin of the poision. It was not an ordinary poison. It was a slow poison effect of Amber lead. The very think that was making their country very prosperous.
Upon further research, Maroon found that the poisonous nature of the ore when exposed to the skin. If left unearthed, the ore is harmless, but when handled, it erodes the body from the inside out, though rather subtly and developing slowly. But due to the high sensitivity of the patient the poison has acted very fast on his body.
This was a discovery that could change the very economy of their country. But as a doctor, Maroon would never allow people to die. So he tried to tell everyone that truth of the poision of the Amber lead.
But before the news could be published, he was called by the royal family to discuss the matter with them.
But they were not the only ones who were present. One of the five elder stars of the world government was also attending the meeting through a long distance transponder snail.
But he was really surprised and disgusted when he found that the world Government and the royal family has already discovered about the poisonous effect of the Amber lead. Only out of greed, they have hidden the fact from the common people of the Flemvance. At that moment he knew that he won't be able to return alive.
They offered him a lot of money to keep his mouth shut and sell his research on the poisonous effect of Amber lead.
Of course as a doctor he would never do that.
But before his inevitable death, he remembered the words of his late great grandmother.
'D's are considered as the natural enemy of the Gods. So never tell your full name in front of others. Or you will face a lot of trouble.'
Back then he didn't understood anything. But now he felt an undiscribable urge to shout his name in front of the elder before he dies.
"My true name is Trafalgar !-"
*Bang*
But just when the government agent shot him, someone appeared in front of him and saved him.
"Assistant doctor Kima ?" It was not other than the weird female doctor who joined his clinic as an assistant doctor six months ago. She was a good doctor with a lot of knowledge on different types of natural medicinal herbs. She had told him that the scars in her body were the result of an accident that occurred during her childhood. But after seeing her strength that night, Maroon very much doubted her words.

All of the members of the royal family stepped down as the ruler of the Flemvance kingdom with the king and the queen committing suicide afterwards.
The famous surgeon and doctor as well as the chief chancellor of the medical council, Trafalgar Maroon was declared as the new king of the island.

Five years after that, the truth of the poisonous nature of the Amber lead along with the discovery of it's antidote was declared to the entire world.
But that is the story of another time.
