Land of Wano 1
My long term plan
Land of Wano. One of the most powerful Islands in the world. Not just because of its strategic placement and position in the new world but also because of many other reasons. One of them being one of the ancient weapons being hidden inside the country. Apart from that this country was also the origin of many powerful named blades. Many master sword smiths were born in the country. Apart from the strong samurai forces, the land's history and the connection with the void century, makes it even more powerful.
The kozuki clan of the land of Wano was responsible for making all the poneglyphs in the world. The poneglyphs, that the world government fear the most.
There are countless other reasons for me to come to this land. Looking at the stiff waterfall, I understood that my destination has arrived.
"Get ready, we are going to fly." I told my two disciples. They were confused due to the absurdity of my words. But I went under the cabin to start the engine.
The Black Bird is a very special ship. In creating it's flying mechanism I have my own contribution. The original Black hawk design was not meant for my ship since it was making the ship very heavy and it needed a lot of power to fly. But my blackboard was a little different in that matter. During it's design, both Mammod and I worked very hard to come up with a better idea to make the ship lighter. The original Black hawk's engine was too big. So taking inspiration from flat six cylinder type engines, we created something that could produce more power with less overall weight.
So we have used flame dials, impact dials and wind dials to create a compact engine that could produce a lot of power in order to make our ship fly. The ship was big so massive wind propellers were in the ship to take it to the sky.
As I turned on the engine, the ship automatically went through a little transformation in order to turn the sails into wings. Propellers came out of both the sides in order to take the ship into the sky.
"You two ! Come inside the outside won't be safe anymore." I shouted at my two students who were tell outside.
As the motors in the propeller picked up the speed, the ship's speed increased as well. Slowly it's started to leave the ocean and fly. This was not the first time I was flying this ship. But due to the sea currents near the land of Wano, it was difficult for me to safely take off. But once it left the ocean it was a smooth ride after that. Soon were reached the height where we could easily go over the waterfall.
But our smooth sailing went wrong when a strong gust of wind suddenly tilted our ship. Fortunately we were not that high above in the sky from the ocean. So the impact is not going to break our ship. But unfortunately our ship landed directly besides a whirlpool.

"*Sigh* It is good that you decided not to eat a devil fruit. Otherwise we all have been dead by now." What I said was not entirely true. But I was really glad that there is someone in my ship, who could fish me out in the time of need.
Once our ship landed on the ocean we didn't have time to escape the whirlpool. Even with the maximum thrust, the wind dial failed to take out our ship from the monstrosity. As a result our ship drowned in the water.
Although it was far from being damaged, us devil fruit users were not spared from our curse.
Somehow when I was about to escape to the shadow world, Goggy grabbed Astrid and me and look us out of the sea. After coming out I went inside and fished out our ship.
Unfortunately all of us were completely wet. While Astrid could freeze the water in her clothes, and Goggy didn't have any problem being wet, I hated it.
So I decided to turn into my cat zoan form and left my clothes to dry on my own.
After hiding our ship I left with Astrid leaving Goggy to guard our ship. I didn't have any idea where the hell we ended up. To our only chance to find out that is to venture deep into the land of Wano.

"This is very uncomfortable !" Astrid complained after she wore the local traditional Japanese dress. I was wearing the same. Trying to bend into the crowd was something easier than I thought.
"Stop complaining. We are here with a purpose. And try to change your accent. These people might not doubt. But seasoned samurais will find out if you act differently. I don't know what is their punishment for infiltration and I don't want to find out." I told Astrid.
Hundreds of years ago, Wano was known as the Country of Gold, being once located at sea level. The Ancient Weapon Pluton should be currently located under Mt. Fuji, beneath the old Wano Country.
The country follows a strict policy of isolationism. Meaning that contact with outsiders such as pirates and other countries is prohibited. Leaving the country's borders is also considered a crime. Outsiders who enter the country will be immediately attacked. This policy was maintained as a result of the country's geography that makes an invasion extremely difficult, as well as its powerful samurai warriors.
In the canon, Wano even has it's own newspaper, which only covers national events, and the citizens do not receive international news or newspapers from the News Coo, with the exception of the Beasts Pirates on Onigashima, when they ruled Wano with Orochi.
In the canon, their lack of contact with the outside world has resulted in many legends and superstitions forming within the populace of Wano. Notably, they were unaware of what Devil Fruits are, referring to the powers gained from them as some form of Sorcery. Although the country was familiar with the concept of Haki, they were unaware of the term for it used by the outside world. Instead, they call it Ryuo.
During the conversation with Robin, Sukiyaki revealed that the true purpose of the isolationism of Wano is to contain Pluton and the whole of opening the country is meant to unleash the Ancient Weapon to the world.
I have some long term plans in the wano country. So I didn't want to make an enemy out of the people. Since we are outsiders, the best way to bend into the crowd is by changing our outfits.
