Priority and Path Ahead in the future II
Getting Adam wood was not as easy as I thought. The gold I looted from the sky Island easily got her 400 millions berries in the sabaody archipelago. Since the water 7 City has not came into existence yet, I had to go all the way to the sabaody to exchange the gold. After getting my money I tried to get into contact with someone from black market. Because I didn't know the name of the kingdom where the adam wood tree exists. But it turn out that except from slaves and Devil fruits, the only thing available in the black market was weapons. Not to mention there are different black markets in different parts of the world. For example there are two black markets in the paradise and one in each blue except for the east blue. Likewise, in the new world there is a single black market.
But all of the black markets operated separately. And the broker that I contacted, wasn't even aware that adam wood is real in the first place.
I didn't want to waste my time on something that is not an immediate necessity. I could always visit the black markets and collect the adam wood later. A flying ship will provide me with strategic advantage. But it wasn't necessary for my plans. So finally I decided to return to Rusukaina island in order to continue my training.
For next six months, I continued to train on my devil fruit. But after getting no significant progress, I decided to leave the island and travel while training the emotion sensing aspect of my observation haki. It was the only aspect of the observation haki, that I hadn't mastered. And I paid the price for it.
So mastering emotion sensing became the main priority for my next year training.
Based on my knowledge of the canon, I decided to stay in paradise and search for the Adam wood in the black market of the paradise while training my observation haki. For sensing emotions of different people, I need it to interact with people. And it would have been impossible in the secluded Rusukaina island. So at the end sailing in the grand line killed two birds with one stone.
Gathering information about the black market was not easy. There were many people who tried to scam me. So when I was unable to accomplish my goal as a human I turned into my cat zoan form and tried in that way. In that method I was able to get the location of the main two black market in the paradise. One of them, was in Sapphire skull Island. While the other was in Bluecall Island.
At first I went to the Sapphire skull Island as I got it's eternal pose very easily.
This Island can be called, the Hachinosu of the Paradise. Although, I don't know if Hachinosu is currently as influential as in the canon or in the rocks's era, but the beehive island is the most lawless island in the entire world even now. It is famous among the pirates.
That matter aside, my visit to Sapphire skull Island was very productive even if I didn't get what I wanted. It was a lawless area with out the influence of the marines.
Adam wood is very rare in the black market. So every time it comes to the black market an auction is arranged, and the highest bidder get the wood. But to get notification and a seat to participate in the auction also takes pre booking through various brokers who demands from 30 millions to 50 millions berries. Adam wood or any super rare item get auctioned in that way full stop of course there is a option of directly looting the rare items. But for normal people and pirates it was not an option since the auction is arranged by some of the big shot pirates in the paradise.
I didn't want to wait for the adam wood. So I paid a broker 45 millions to secure a seat for me in the auction. Once I get the exact timing of the arrival of the item, I can always steal it.
But apart from the information on Adam wood, I found two other things that made all of my efforts worth it. The first thing was, sea stones. Sea prism stone is very rare. In The Islands, it is found naturally, except from Wano, are under the direct control of world government. It is the main weapon of government against devil fruit users. Dr Vegapunk has not been born yet neither he has discovered about the other effects of sea stone. So the world government is not using it extensively.
And because of that reason the sea stone that can be smuggled into the black market is also very rare.
And considering I got my hands on two kgs of sea stone, can be considered as extremely lucky.
The third thing I got from this visit was one of the seven supreme grade swords, Muramasa, the cleaver. I wasn't expecting that kind of sword being available at the place. But apparently it was being auctioned out. Of course I had to destroy the entire auction House and kill many pirates in order to get my hands on the sword. But at the end it was worth the trouble. After gaining my devil fruit, I usually fight with my fist and claws. But I can also use a sword. And there is no way I will miss one of the seven supreme grade swords when it is within my reach.
Before leaving the Sapphire skull Island, I found another interesting thing. A bounty poster along with news about the girl with the bounty to be exact.

Astrid the terrorist, is responsible for civil wars many many different nations, murder of three marine commodores and two marine captains along with many other Marine soldiers.
She has also hands on looting the property of the world government. And directly attacking a government ship.
I felt proud after seeing the news. Atleast the fruit I gave to the girl didn't go to waste.
At the end of the third year of my training, I have gained many things materialistically. But I was disappointed that, I was not able to improve the emotion sensing aspect of my observation haki that much.
But according to my planning I have still two years in my hands before I make my move. So there is nothing to worry about.
