End of the second Saga
Fulfilling the promise
Monkey D Frey, is a normal woman. Compared to what her grandfather had told her, her life was extremely normal. After she moved to East blue at the age of 16, she found a job in the Goa Kingdom as a seamstress. She had hidden her name, as her grandpa had told her. She didn't know who exactly her father was, but according to her grandpa, the world government used to see him as a great threat.
Frey continued to work as a seamstress in the Goa kingdom for next 5 years. Her works became very popular among the nobles of the Goa Kingdom due to it's quality.
At that time a man named Leon attracted her attaintion.
But unknown to her she has also attracted the attention of a noble.
Her relationship with Leon developed into love and they decided to marry.
At that time, due to a certain incident with the noble, they have to leave Goa Kingdom and come to the Foosha village in the other side of the island.
Frey, stopped her work as a seamstress, not to attract too much attention.
They lived happily after that for a while.
She even became a mother of two children. But after that, everything changed.
Leon was kidnapped by some pirates and her elder daughter, Maki went to rescue her father. Her daughter has inherited the strength of their Monkey D family shown by her grandfather. So reluctantly, Frey let her go.
Leon returned. Maki didn't.
Frey was heart broken after listening Leon's tell. While Leon became heart broken and depressed, Frey didn't lose her hope. Her daughter has promised her. So she will believe in her.
But her tragedy didn't end there. 2 years after Maki's departure the noble somehow got his hands on the where abouts of Frey and her family. But after knowing that Frey had already married to a man and has a son, he went into frenzy and tried to kill them. Fortunately, the noble was not that wealthy despite his moderate rank.
So he was not able to hire much mercenaries. He and his group had came to their house in order to kill her son and husband. But after they surrounded her family, the noble gloated about how he was going to rape her before killing her.
Hearing that, Leon went for suicidal attack. He killed all of the goons and the noble in a berserk state. Although he got injured, he was alive. But that tragedy has not ended. For killing a noble, Leon was arrested and sentenced to death. Despite their efforts, she wasn't able to save his life.
Fortunately, the nobles did not go far. They left her and her son alone after they executed Leon.
That incident changed her son. And roughly 3 years after that when they first saw the 'demon king' with the highest bounty in the world, Gem, started to blame her sister for not being present there when they needed her. It was absurd to blame her daughter when they didn't even know, what situation she was in. But no matter how many times she tried to convince her son, his mindset didn't change.
Until a few days ago, when she was declared dead by the world government and her bounty was cancelled.
So Frey was not expecting to see her daughter again.

"So you won't listen to me after all."
"I will make sure that Dad comes back."
"Remember, never share your full name with others. Especially Monkey D. part of your name.
I can't stop you from leaving. This is my gift to you. But promise me, that someday you will return to see me here. "
"I promise that no matter what, I will return to see you."
"Then I will be waiting for you."
I caresed the bracelet made of sea shells on my wrist. I have gone through many things. But this fragile thing has clung to me. During the tortures of celestial Dragons, they had stripped me naked. But never did anything to the small thing on my wrist. They had broken my body and repaired it many times. But this fragile thing stayed strong.
Even after experiencing many things after my escape, the bracelet remained intact. It looked old and withered but still, it has clung to me.
After getting the mero mero no mi, I went towards the log town in my shadow world. I was not ready to take any risk with east blue sea anymore. After stealing some clothes and a boat, I have travelled to the romance dawn Island in my shadow world.
Looking at the island, an unknown feeling filled up my heart. It was strange. Maybe the feeling of homecoming.
It was the time of morning so not much activity was happening on the dock of foosha village. I still remember the day I left this Island. Back then I was 12 years old. 5 years have passed since then. It was a nostalgic feeling. I covered myself with a dark brown cloack and walked into the village. The sun has just rose so I didn't found anyone in the village street. Using my observation haki, I pinpointed two very familiar auras and went straight towards them.
But I was stunned when I reached a cliff near the forest with a single grave on it. A woman and a boy around 13-14 years old were paying respect to the grave.
My breath hitched when I saw the name written on the grave.
"Leon
'a loving father and a husband'
1353-1397"
The woman turned towards me followed by the boy.
I took off my cloack.
At that time a system massage flashed in my mind but I couldn't care less.
//System has recognised master as a full fedged Sigma. The final requirement has been full filled when master didn't feel remourse or guilt learning about her father's death.
The system has no more work left.
Asking from GOD's permission to leave the host.
I didn't care about the system.
The first one to open mouth was Mom.
"Maki ?"

AN: This is the end of second Saga. After this there will be 5 to 10 interlude fast forward chapters before they start of the third Saga. The third saga will be about Rocks's era. It will end with God valley incident.
