The stupid chicken let out a scream when I suddenly ripped out one of it's wings.
Before it could regenerate I ripped it's other wing and bit down ripping it's chest off. Even when it was coughing up blood from it's beak, it tried to bite me. But I bit it's neck instead while holding it in mid air. I threw it towards the incoming slash sent by V Nusjuro.
The stupid Bird got severed in half by the attack of it's own comrade.
But there attack hadn't finished.
The spider bull demon was the next as it threw a large amount of poison balls towards me. Diving into the shadow of The big sand worm becide me, I appeared behind it. I don't like worms, because I am not a fish. But since the situation called for it, I didn't hesitate to bite down and swing him with all my strength towards the incoming poison balls.
*Boom*Boom*Boom*Boom*Boom*
All of the poison balls exploded on the body of the sand worm.
Leaving the sand worm, I dived down to the shadows again and appeared behind the large boar. But instead of hitting him l pulled him down into the shadows.
The fat bastard didn't have time to react and I dragged him into my shadows.
But this time instead of teleporting anywhere in the island, I immediately teleported to the nearest shadow inside the ocean and opened the shadow world leaving Warcury in the real world.
But it took a few more second than I originally anticipated.
And that was my mistake.
Because by the time I came back on the island, the stupid monster horse was going after Kureha's group. Fortunately they have already reached the coast. But the baldy was aiming for the ship.
It has been a while, since the fight has started. While I was continuing my fight by replenishing my energy by eating monster meat mid fight, it wasn't enough.
Alfred has given me a run down of how to eat the flesh of devil fruit users without exploding.
The power of a devil fruit often reside within one's heart. Especially an alive and beating heart as it represents the vitality of a person. So eating the heart of a devil fruit user in a big no no for me.

But he didn't, so next I decided to leave him under water.
Deflecting V Nusjuro's slash with my haki coated Claws, I sent my own attack.
But then I suddenly heard Roxx calling out to me.
"Hey kid ! Give me a few minutes ! You are poisoned aren't you ? Let me patch you up ! After that you can kick their asses even harder !"
Roxx screamed at me.
Pondering my choices, I jumped down into my shadows. After that I went towards the trio to bring them into the shadow world.
But at that point my future sight again showed me a very shocking future. I was so shocked that I forgot to move for a moment. And that moment bought even more time for my enemy. I was going to face yet another betrayal. Now that I think about it Roma has never swore her loyalty to me.
But when she joined me after killing the celestial pig, I never sensed any false emotions in her. She genuinely hated him back then and only wanted to survive. But it seems that I was too over confident in my ability to sense the emotion of the other peoples.
(AN: How Roma was able to deceive Maki's observation haki and the indepth real plan of the five elders will be discussed in the next chapter.)
I teleported towards the trio inside my shadow world.
Preparing a black flash, I appeared infront of Roxx, who was about to get attacked by Roma. I didn't have any time nor focus to put up a defence of armament haki. Black flash, while extremely powerful, has it's own flaws. The concentration required to control the conqueror's haki at one point and sending it to the enemy within less than a second, is insane. So while preparing a black flash, I can't concentrate on something tasking like armament haki suddenly. So I wasn't able to put enough defence in time.
Honestly that that moment I was very doubtful whether I should save the duo or not. The doubt was genuine, since I was about to get betrayed by one of the person whom I thought as my ally.
But as I said before, my body moved on it own.
"Black flash !"
Roma's chest including her heart exploaded, making a donut out of her.
But not before critically burning me. She has concentrated her fire into a killing blow and has unleashed it on me before dying. Because of my future site I was able to protect my heart. But my left abdomen has a gaping hole.
I immidiately dragged Roxx and Roma into the shadow world. I knocked them out and went towards the general direction, where the log pose was pointing using moon walk. It turned out that I can't use teleportation unless I have a clear picture in my mind. But it didn't matter anymore. Especially when I am dying.
Everything happened so fast that I got a very little time to think about the matter. As soon as I reached on the land I exited the shadow world and dropped the duo on it.
'Again ! I failed ! I failed to kill atleast one of them. I failed even after I have so much strength ! And I am going to fail in keeping my promise to mom. Maybe, I would have a better chance in succeeding if I would have retreated ? But what's done is done. I can't get a glorious death like White beard.
*Sigh*
Hmph ! At the end this life is wasted.'
