Chapter 157 - 157. Annie and Oakley

"Big Brother, I want an ice cream!" Molly looked like a greedy little cat and drooled at seeing the delicious ice cream cone. She lay on the window of someone else's store and looked in, watching her crepe being made step by step.

While waiting for the ice cream crepe, Pikachu, who was bored, noticed the the restaurant next to him and slowly walked inside of it.

He saw a Vaporeon being rinsed under the cold water faucet. After all, Pokémon like Vaporeon, or any other water Pokémon in general, need to keep their bodies moist to stay alive on land.

After the breeze just now, Pikachu also wanted to take a shower, but the Pokémon Trainer turned off the faucet when he left.

After all, saving water is a good habit to have.

Just when Pikachu drooped his ears and felt a little disappointed, the faucet was once again turned on by a girl.

"Pika pika!"

Pikachu looked at the girl as she smiled at him. Pikachu instantly cheered up and took a drink of water and washed it on his body.

"Pikachu!" Ash finally noticed Pikachu running away immediately and hurriedly came over to him. When he saw the girl, he frowned calmly, looked at Pikachu and smiled, "Looks like you have made a new friend."

"I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, thank you for taking care of my Pikachu while I was busy!"

The girl didn't say any words to him. She came closer and smelled Ash's scent carefully. She lingered by his side for several more seconds and then ran away from his direction.

When she was out of sight, Ash said to Pikachu who was right next to him, now all clean and dried up, "Pikachu, let's go!"

"Pika pi!"

Ash directly followed the girl calmly with his trusty Pikachu on his shoulders. Although this girl had changed into the appearance of a girl that was about the same age as him, she actually still had a mind very similar to someone of Molly's age, maybe just a little more smarter than that but still very immature.

Sure enough, the girl walked around the corner and walked along one of the central canals, her steps were very light, showing that she was obviously in a very good mood.

But an uninvited guest appeared at this moment to ruin her good mood. Two young ladies wearing expensive looking clothes suddenly appeared behind her in a speedboat. The cool and collected silver-haired girl driving the boat confirmed, "She turned into this girl, but we still recognize you, Latias!"

The hot blond girl sitting in the back put on a pair of high-tech sunglasses, and sure enough, the figure of Latias was changed from that of the girl to a Pokémon in their eyes!

In legends, there is also a saying that Latios and Latias can turn into human forms, but in fact they did not turn into human forms, but wrapped their bodies with their glass-like feathers and refracted light to change their appearance and physical state.

To be precise, this is a kind of deception, and of course it is easy to detect if you have a high tech glasses like these to see with.

The two young ladies rushed in front of the girl and asked jokingly, "Where did you buy that pretty dress, Latias?"

Without any hesitation, they threw their Pokémon Balls and summoned an Espeon and an Ariados!

Seeing that the two people directly revealed her identity's and get ready to attack her, Latias knew that these guys coming after her was evil, but she was not good at fighting as her older brother, so she immediately turned around and ran away form the scene.

Sensing a change in the Aura that Latias was unknowingly releasing in front of him, Ash knew something was wrong and hurried over to where she was!

Latias was soon stopped on the bridge by Ariados, and the Espeon also blocked her way back. Meaning she was now completely cornerd.

She was caught by the spider webs of Ariados, but she suddenly stopped panicking and calmly looked at the two girls who were chasing after her.

"We didn't do anything bad, so why did you run away from us?" The blonde girl showed a kind smile.

At this moment, Ash dropped beside them from one of the taller buildings, "Are you trying to do something bad? Keep chasing this innocent girl? And you use such a old method!"

A pink light flashed across Ash's eyes, and the Ariados was instantly knocked away, and the spider webs on Latias were also tore down.

Then Pikachu used one of his Iron Tails to knock the Espeon away.

Latias seemed to have alredy sensed Ash's arrival, so she now stood behind him without any panic or surprise shown in her face.

"What?" The two girls couldn't help but exclaimed outloud. This young handsome guy just defeated two of their strongest Pokémon's in what could be said to less than ten seconds, and in this short time, they couldn't even react to him!

"Kid, who are you? We were just doing our job. Isn't it too rude to hit someone as soon as you meet them? Didn't your dad teach you anything about manners?"

Although they understood that Ash is a very powerful Trainer, they are not that scared at all. Although they are not expert Pokémon Trainers, but they are expert Thief's!

Two of best thieves in the Thief world are them, Oakley and Annie.

Hearing this, Ash smiled and showed them on of his cold infamous smiles, "I only give my grace to the girls I care about! As for you two sisters, I would like to advise you that I am a Pokémon investigator, so don't do anything to make me attest you two. I have the complete authority to send you two have some fun at prison!"

With that said, Ash turned around and left with Latias.

How dare these two women chase after someone he is personally involved with? They looked at each other and revealed a sneer.

"By the way, I don't have a dad." Ash said that last thing and turned around.

Ash and Latias returned to the square just now, and with just a turn, Latias had disappeared from his vision.

He smiled and did not reveal that he knew about her identity. It would be more interesting to wait for her to reveal it herself, wouldn't it?

"Ash, the crepes are getting cold!" Misty noticed Ash and hurriedly called him over for his part. After finishing the crepes, they prepared to go to the lobby.

This church here was very solemn to say the least. It has obviously been repaired countless times over the hundreds of years before it became the place that it is today. This also shows how much people here respect the church.

The front part of this temple is the museum that Ash and his party saw on the boat just now. In the square in front of the door, there are two stone pillars of the Eon Pokémon's standing, which is quite spectacular from up close.

However, even Ash didn't notice that there was a small robot tracking him just above the temple because he wasn't actively using his Aura Sense.

Entering the museum, the layout inside was even more spectacular than the outside. Among other things, there were fossils of ancient Pokémon in the middle and sides of the rooms.

"I know, I know, that is the fossil of an Aerodactyl!" Molly said proudly to herself. Ash had taught her before in Ruins of Alph on what the fossils look like and how she can see the deference's between them to find out which Pokémon the fossil belongs to.

"This young lady here is very smart!" A white-bearded old man came over with a kind look, "You can see a lot of fossils in the museum here!"

Aerodactyl, this is a Pokémon that Ash also wants to catch for his team. It is a very powerful Pokémon that also has that domineering presence around it.

This old man is the part-time tour guide here, Mr. Lorenzo.

"Next, please visit this side of the building!" After passing through the entrance of the museum, Ash and his group arrived at the Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare or the DMA under the leadership of Lorenzo.

Here stands an awe-inspiring installation just by looking at it. The circular ceiling is inlaid with colored glass and the patterns are very exquisite and beautiful.

Facing the sunlight projected from the stained glass, Brock was full of confidence, opened his arms and cheered, "I will definitely meet a beautiful lady here!"

Hearing this, Ash chuckled, it was indeed an encounter, but it was obvious that the person who came was not good-natured, so he hopes nothing bad happens!
