Chapter 191 - 191. Bad Start

Ash has now finally defeated Gary and won the long-awaited battle between the two old friends and rivals!

When the group returned to the Pokémon Center to heal Ash's Pokémon's up, there was already someone waiting for him!

"Ash, long time no see. I'm sorry that I only saw the second half of your game. You have now become even stronger than the last time I saw you!" The girl appear to complement him very openly.

"Miss Aya!" Brock was the first to rush over. The person who came was none other than the female ninja, Aya!

Misty stepped forward and pulled his ear away, "Miss Aya must have something important to do since she came here. Don't hinder the conversation!"

Ash smiled and had a sweatdrop and said, "Miss Aya, thank you for keeping your promise with the principal!"

Miss Aya nodded, took out a Poké Ball and handed it to Ash, "The principal had previously created a secret training program specifically for Scizor, and now be had finally completed the other day. So he asked me to hurry up and deliver it to you before your match. Fortunately, I was not too late."

Aya hurriedly left early here and finally arrived at the Silver Conference on time, fulfilling the promise she made at that time and having Scizor return during the Silver Conference!

Fortunately, Ash was ready and won the first round of the decisive tournament, otherwise it would be a real pity for him.

"Ash, congratulations on making it to the second round of the Silver Conference victory round. I believe Scizor will be able to help you in the next games!"

"Thank you, Miss Aya. Please also thank the principal for me!"

"The second round of the Silver Conference is about to begin! The first match has been decided to be held on a grass field! The first one is the famous Trainer Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, and the second one is Trainer Harrison from Littleroot Town all the way in the Hoenn Region!"

After the 16 to 8 battle ended, it was Ash's and Harrison's turn to battle in the first roun of the 8 to 4.

This is a battle between 8 and 4, and the winner among them can advance to the semi-finals and then to the eventual finals!

"Stand by for battle, Pikachu!" Ash was chosen to be the first one to send out his Pokémon, so he sent out his trusty Pikachu who could no longer contain his fighting spirit. He had not let him battle against Gary before and now Pikachu could no longer sit still after not being able to blow of some steam.

In this battle, the two drew the grass field. The grass here was very lush and some part of it is even taller than his Pikachu.

"Ash, I have been looking forward to fighting you for a long time. Go, Kecleon!" The first Pokémon Harrison has sent to fight against Pikachu turned out to be a Kecleon, which has the special ability to change its body color to achieve invisibility, well mostly!

"Me too! Let me see the power of the Hoenn Region!" Ash's fighting spirit was burning hot today, "Go, Pikachu! Quick Attack"

After using Quick Attack, Pikachu's figure transformed into a yellow flash and rushed towards the green Kecleon!

"Kecleon, Color Change!"

Harrison gave an order and Kecleon disappeared into the grass in an instant!

It is invisible, but it is not perfect. The red stripe on its belly cannot be hidden from Pikachis sight, and it is even more eye-catching on this green grassy field!

'Come on, Pikachu!' Ash yelled out telepathically.

The fast-moving Pikachu was still confused for a moment, but Ash's mind voice reached his brain just in time. Pikachu did not stop, but continued on the original attack track and made a sharp turn at the last moment!

This instantly knocked Kecleon away from where it was hiding in!

"That's awesome! Pikachu was still able to hit the hidden Kecleon at such speed!" The commentator also cheered for Pikachu.

The bond between Ash and Pikachu was so strong that Pikachu didn't question Ash's order at all and continued to rush forward almost subconsciously!

Professor Oak in the audience and Gary hiding in the contestants' entrance area were all thinking of the same thing, well mostly, 'The tacit understanding between Ash and his Pikachu are without a doubt, perfect.'

"It's hard to imagine that this is the same willful and disobedient Pikachu from back then!" Professor Oak exclaimed as if he was too old.

"Kecleon, are you okay?" Harrison looked at his Kecleon, who was still capable of fighting. It stood up, jumped into the grass, and then started running!

Brock and Misty were surprised, "Can Kecleon move so fast?"

"I see, in order to hide the visible patterns on the body, Harrison's countermeasure was to increase the speed of his Kecleon to the point that it will be hard to find!" Professor Oak could guess Harrison's tactics at a glance.

However, Ash tilted his head, "Is it too soon to do it?"

Pikachu smiled, a metallic light suddenly lit up on his tail, and he swung it in one seemingly random direction!

The moving Kecleon seemed to have bumped into Pikachu's Iron Tail and was immediately knocked away!

"And it hit the second tower! Pikachu's Iron Tail was successfully able to hit Kecleon directly, and now Kecleon lost his ability to fight!" With one simple explanation, the audience immediately became excited!

Pikachu has experienced many battles, and has a record of defeating two Legendary Pokémons of Thunder, so beating the much weaker and small Kecleon without even using his Electric-type attack was very simple to him!

"You have done a good job, Kecleon, just take a good rest for now!" Harrison took back his Kecleon inside of his Poké Ball to rest up. Obviously, the strength that Ash and his Pikachu showed right nos far exceeded his imagination!

"I'll be the one to go first this time! Go, Sneasel!" The second Pokémon Harrison took out was the Sneasel he captured in the Ho-Oh Shrine not long ago.

Although it wasn't that ling since he caught Sneasel, it had a very compatibly with Harrison. In the first round of the previous game, it defeated the opponents Machamp despite a disadvantageous he faced in their types, thus helping Harrison pass that round smoothly.

However, Sneasel, who was originally full of fighting spirit, saw that his opponent turned out to be Ash, and his momentum suddenly dropped by more than half. Ash had caused a lot of psychological shadow to him with the beating he received from his Tyrouge!

"Seasel, this time we are going to defeat Ash!" Although Harrison had not noticed the battle where Ash had defeated Sneasel with his Tyrouge before, the situation was quite obvious to him!

This time, he and Sneasel will defeat Ash!

However, while their ideal was beautiful to think about, but the reality was a bit tragic for them!

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!"

"Sneasel, Fury Swipes!"

As soon as Harrison's orders were given, Sneasel suddenly appeared next to Pikachu and managed to grab Pikachu with a claw.

However, Pikachu's figure also disappeared at this moment without a trace, leaving Sneasel's attack empty.

"In a speed competition like this, Pikachu will never lose!" Ash smiled confidently, "Iron Tail!"

"Sneasel, use the Metal Claw!"

In the collision of the two Steel-type attacks, Pikachu was by far the better one and knocks Sneasel away immediately before he could fight back.

"Sneasel loses the ability to fight, Pikachu wins this battle!"

"This Pikachu is a bit too strong!" Harrison couldn't help but panic inside. He underestimated this Pikachu on Ash's shoulder.

This time against Ash, he did not register most of the Pokémon captured in the Hoenn Region in except for his starter Blaziken, most of them were all partners captured and trained in the Johto Region.

Obviously, he found it very difficult to defeat Ash with with these new Pokémon's! And even if he used his old Pokémon's, he wasn't sure if he could defeat this Pikachu in front of him.

"Seasel has lost his ability to fight. Trainer Harrison has already lost two of his Pokémon at the very beginning of the match. The situation is very unfavorable towards him. Is there anything he can do to reverse the current situation or would he lose like this?"

After the voice of the commentator fell, Harrison withdrew his defeated Sneasel, "It's your turn, Hypno!"
