Lake served himself another glass, having a love-hate relationship with the sour-sweet drink.
"Nothing is getting in between me and planning your wedding, except you." Lake said generously.
"I already feel better about the wedding already," Caspian said with a smile that stuck stubbornly to his pink-tinged face.
"Good," Lake said confidently, "Now, all I need is a notepad, a coat a couple sizes too big, and an uncomfortable pencil skirt."
Now Caspian had to drop his half-empty glass, choking lightly while laughing.
"I don't think you need all that, a notepad is more than enough." He managed through laughter.
"Why don't we start small?" Lake started, taking his newly acquired job very seriously. "Do you want an engagement party?"
"It sounds fun," Caspian tucked his legs under him, "I should probably talk about that with Asher."
