Jael doubted it would do that, Caspian didn't do very well with being trapped. Taking his freedom from him was the quickest way to lose him.
"He'll hate you," He said bluntly, knowing that he needed to nip whatever this in the bud.
Asher flinched at that, "A small price to pay for his safety."
Jael scratched his head, Asher's head was hard as shit, the Alpha wasn't even listening.
"He won't agree to it," He weakly argued.
"I'll find a way to convince him." Asher said self-confidently.
"Like your dad did with your mom?" Jael said quietly, using his ace card that he would rather not use.
Old hurt bled into Asher's eyes at that, "I'll never be Gage."
Jael just sighed at the passionate declaration. Asher saying that didn't change the fact that he was doing the exact same thing his dad did.
They might have different reasons but ultimately their actions were similar.
