Caspian's sleep was interrupted by a friendly Hannah, the maid was apologetic as she roused him, a worried look in her eyes.
"The boss has ordered that you have lunch with him," She informed him, whispering conspiratorially although it was just the two of them in the room.
Caspian blinked blearily at her, wishing he could just go back to sleep and never wake up. What were the chances that the same ruse would work twice? He might have reached the end of his game.
"Thanks," He mumbled, his voice coming out hoarser than he expected, startling both him and Hannah.
Hannah looked very concerned but she was polite enough not to mention it, "D-Do you need me to help you get dressed?"
Caspian threw off the covers and glanced down at himself, he doubted that Asher had bothered to change clothes, not to mention, that Hannah couldn't see him without clothes on.
"I don't think so," He said in an even quieter voice, relieved when the raspiness was not as obvious.
He felt a little too warm as he remembered the reason his voice became that way.
Hannah gave him a polite smile to his response, "Alright, I'll be back in a few minutes," She said and excused herself, leaving him to get ready.
Caspian splashed some water on his face and brushed out his hair, staring at himself in the mirror. He had just sucked someone off for the first time but he wasn't even given the time to process it.
He sighed tiredly as he freshened up and sat on the bed to wait for Hannah.
They would have lunch in the bedroom as well, right? So at any moment, Asher could walk in through the doors.
The person to walk in through the door was Hannah and she wasn't pushing in a mobile tray like the maid in the morning had done.
"Are you all set?" She beamed.
"Well, yes, am I going somewhere?" Caspian had to ask.
"To… the… dining room?" Hannah enunciated, a little confused.
Caspian shot to his feet at that, "Right, I just need…" He trailed off, hurrying to the closet to get the most comfortable shoes he could find.
It turned out to be fluffy bunny-eared slippers, he wore them without a second thought, following Hannah's lead to the dining room.
Having lunch in the dining room might turn out to be in his favor, but he didn't have very high hopes for that.
Caspian had only left Asher's bedroom twice after he was brought in there, and one of those times had been through the window, so he was a stranger to the surroundings.
As they quietly walked down the hallway, he wondered if he should have taken Hannah's advice to wear something fancier.
The Omega said nothing to him throughout their short brisk journey, he noted she said less and less to him the longer they spent around each other.
Caspian couldn't even feel bad about it, it was best that he didn't make any connections, considering that he wouldn't be here for very long.
He was about to ask Hannah if Asher was already inside the dining room but he didn't need to, because she stopped a distance away from the doors that led to the dining room.
"The dining room is right behind those doors," She gave him a way too bright smile that he had a hard time trusting, quickly hot-footing it away.
For a few seconds, he was completely alone, and he was out of the room that he was constantly locked in. He was also wary of going to meet Asher so naturally, the thought of escaping popped into his head.
The doors swung open before he could even pay the thought any mind, a maid smiling politely at him as she went past, and in the distance behind her was Asher seated on the dining table, staring at him with a hand on his chin.
Caspian had to suppress a shudder, it was almost like the Alpha knew what he had been thinking.
He stepped in, the maid waiting long enough to close the door. He was rooted to the ground in front of the door, unable to look in Asher's direction.
What kind of conversation did people have after being intimate?
He couldn't stand in the doorway forever so he pushed himself forward, risking a glance at Asher to find the Alpha watching him with an almost cold expression.
He straightened up unconsciously, worried that Asher was upset for some reason, so he couldn't have possibly predicted his next words.
"Sit on me," He calmly ordered.
Caspian had to do a double take, not sure he heard correctly. Asher leaning back in his seat and his expectant expression however confirmed his fears.
Already worried that he had somehow upset the Alpha, he didn't protest, meekly walking around the table.
It was just the two of them in the spacious dining room, and they were seated at a table that could easily seat eight, yet Asher was making him sit on him instead.
Caspian pressed his knees together, sitting sideways. He wanted to protest how unrealistic their sitting positions were, it would be difficult for either of them to eat lunch.
He quickly realized that the arrangement wasn't made for the sake of lunch, his heart rate spiking as he felt the outline of Asher's dick beneath his thighs.
He slowly turned to the side to find the Alpha focused on him, and he was very much about to shoot to his feet and put some distance between them.
Asher's powerful arms slipped around his waist, the Alpha's face tucked in the curve of his neck, his breathing steady.
"You have to take responsibility," He hummed, his voice relaxed, unlike the iron grip he had around his waist. "You made me this way…"
Caspian would apologize if it would spare him but he could taste Asher's scent in the back of his throat, his thighs trembling in his short skirt.
"I can't do that if you don't let me go," He tried to say teasingly, but it just came out a bit frightened.
Asher leaned back and cocked a brow, his hold easing.
Caspian slipped out of his hold then and dropped to his knees underneath the table, this was the only thing he had to offer, unfortunately.
And he hoped that Asher wouldn't push because that would mean trouble for him, a lot of it.
He got Asher's dick out of his pants and on the tip of his tongue when a polite knock rapped on the door, the door opening without an invite.
