Lake needed to be in and out of the mansion before Master Davian returned.
He also needed to be done quickly before Arthur was made aware of his presence.
The guards didn't care about his unlikely luggage, letting him pass with polite nods and half waves.
The first part was over and done with, now he just hoped that his former co-workers would keep their noses out of his business.
That was too much to hope for.
"I heard the Master was looking for you."
A maid approached him as soon as he got to the lockers, distinct snickering coming from a group of three behind her.
It was already fairly late so these were the stragglers left behind for the day, and they looked to be preparing to leave.
"I don't see how that has anything to do with you." He said flatly, uninterested in pandering to them.
He didn't care for them, and more importantly, he didn't have the time for them.
