While they watched movies, Jael did indeed have people over to fix the doors.
Caspian barely focused on the shows they watched, barely refraining from constantly asking about Asher like he really wanted to.
He waited patiently till evening drew closer before he broke the companionable silence.
"Do you think… Asher can eat dinner with us tonight?"
Jael looked away from the screen and over at him, he didn't protest because he could tell that this had been on Caspian's mind for hours.
He was honestly surprised that the Omega had held out for this long.
"Why don't we go find out?" He suggested decisively, rising to his feet.
Caspian got to his feet hastily as well, a little surprised that Jael hadn't protested even a little bit.
Now that they were on their way to Asher, Caspian was starting to wish that he had stalled for as long as he could.
