When Jael stayed quiet, clearly expecting more, Asher tried a half-hearted explanation.
"It's probably because I had an episode a couple weeks ago?" He suggested uncertainly.
Jael didn't look impressed by this, "So you'll be getting another in a couple weeks time?"
Asher slowed down, he had just been about to sit on a chair next to Jael but the Beta's words made him pause.
"That… that can't happen right?"
"You're asking me?" Jael pointed at himself, "I'm not the doctor."
Now Asher sat, looking troubled. "I'll get that checked."
Jael waved that away because that wasn't even one of the problems on the forefront, at least there was still a couple of weeks before another possible flare-up.
And it came with blaring alarms so if it did happen again, they could do a repeat of what they did this time.
"What do you want to do?" He asked instead, deathly curious but not really.
