He had knocked me into the bathtub, I was now soaking wet.
-You want me to kill you?, I growled at him aggressively
-I think I'll wear you out on the bed before you can kill me, he mocked
I was sitting on his lap in the bathtub. The warm air in the bathroom made my heart beat wildly.
-Stop talking nonsense, I told him, blushing slightly.
He continues to hold me by the waist and I notice as I observe him that his pupils have turned golden.
-Let me smell your pheromones, he whispered in my ear
He rubs his nose next to my neck.
-Finish your shower first, I told him
He stares at me out of the corner of his eyes and his golden eyes destabilize me.
-I'll let you finish your shower, I told him quickly
I get up and get out of the bathtub.
-Won't you give me a little kiss?, he asked me suddenly
-Later, I answered him
I walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me. My heart was pounding as I stood in the room, thinking about the best way to sneak away. I needed to get out, get some fresh air, and above all, avoid what awaited me tonight.
His golden eyes didn't bode well, I thought.
The idea of going out to a nightclub came to mind. If I stayed long enough, he would be asleep when I returned and perhaps forget his "reward."
Decided, I walked towards the window. Luckily our room was on the first floor, which made climbing relatively easy. I opened the window carefully, trying not to make any noise. The cool night air hit me immediately, a welcome contrast to the warmth of the bathroom.
(066: Are you really going to escape through the window?)
(055: Are you still alive?)
(067: Yes it's just that most of the time I prefer to look than talk)
(055: Don't tell me you saw what happened in the office?!)
(067:Uh..so why?)
(055: I hesitate between deleting your memory or killing you)
(067: Don't kill me, I promise I won't tell anyone!)
(055: I hope so)
I took one last look at the bathroom door, still hearing the water running. Fortunately in the locker room, many clothes were made available to us. So I changed quickly.
Taking a deep breath, I slipped out the window and slowly descended along the sill. Fortunately, no one was on the street to see me. Once on the ground, I glanced around, making sure the coast was clear.
(067: Are you really leaving?)
(055: I'm just going to a nightclub to clear my mind)
(067: Why are you afraid of sleeping with the bad guy?)
(055: I'm just afraid he'll lose control)
(067: why do you say that?)
(055: Her eyes were golden in the bathroom)
(067: Oh right?!)
(055: Yeah)
I then set off towards the city center, where I knew I would find several lively nightclubs. The streets were still alive, the neon lights and the distant sound of music guiding my steps. I walked briskly, my heart still pounding, but this time with a different excitement. I blended into the crowd of night owls, feeling a little freer with each step.
Loud music and strobe lights greeted me at the entrance to the nightclub. I paid my entrance fee and entered the room, where the crowd was dancing and laughing. I let myself be carried away by the rhythm, hoping that the time would pass quickly. I danced among the strangers, losing myself in the crowd, momentarily forgetting my worries and my nervousness.
