The headache that comes from drinking was one thing that Damien just couldn't stand. He struggled to open his eyes as they felt heavy.
He managed to open his eyes, the moment he opened his eyes, he heard his phone ringing.
He stood up from the bed holding his head, it felt like lead on his neck. His hand reach out for his phone on the bedside table, grabbing it he picked the person's call without even glancing at the caller ID.
"Hello," he said his voice sounding groggy, his throat felt perched he needed to drink water and also take some Paracetamol.
"Damien hello, I am called you cause I am coming over to the house today."
"Huh?" Damien removed his phone from his ear to check who was calling, it was his mother.
"Don't 'huh' me, I haven't seen you in ages and I have to come over and check up on you."
"But, mom can't you come another day?"
