This is a battle of both equals and unequal.
Kahn, a time traveller, can't afford to fight an uncertain war.
He knows the story well and understands that the Beasts Pirates are currently one of the most oppressive forces among the major powers.
Just as I mentioned before:
If Kaido is incredibly unlucky, then Kahn, the time traveller, is incredibly fortunate.
Before the Sea Circle Calendar 1510, the Cross Family had already surpassed the Beasts Pirates in terms of high-end combat power.
By the end of 1510, the Cross Family had also overtaken the Beasts Pirates in low-end combat power.
Considering the Hydra fighters who have mastered Haki, the current Cross Family now surpasses the Beasts Pirates in all levels of combat power—whether it's low-end, mid-range, or high-end. The Beasts Pirates are far weaker now than they were in previous years.
So, when this so-called "snow" that overwhelms everything actually breaks out into a war where Kaido is trying to crush everything, the situation quickly turns one-sided.
Nighttime is the domain of vampires and also the territory of cloned and transformed beings.
Their scarlet-glowing eyes aren't just for show; they add more than just a bit of menace.
Much like the automatic scanning of Pacifistas, these eyes can accurately identify wanted criminals worried about their bounties among the crowd.
When Kahn created these cloned humans, he didn't just program them to be fearless and loyal; he also installed a device that allowed them to scan enemies in the dark.
This makes pirates who lack Haki vulnerable when faced with an attack from the clones.
Whoosh!
The clones lead the charge.
The Nine Snake warriors, well aware that these soldiers aren't real humans, use them as cover. Following Kahn's tactics from his previous life, they advance like tanks, hiding behind the clones, drawing their bows, infusing them with Haki, and launching surprise attacks on pirates who lose their balance or are shrouded in smoke.
Arrows wrapped in Haki explode like bombs in the dust and mist.
With the coordinated efforts of the clone-and-transformer legion and the Kuja Warriors, the pirates who heard the noise were swiftly wiped out.
But the First and Second Corps kept advancing steadily.
As they moved forward, the zombie legions and shadowless pirates bypassed the first and second legions from the left and right, charging toward the skeletons ahead like zombies released from their cages.
Initially, the second legion of clones led the way, with the Kuja Warriors following closely behind and the zombie army, along with various pirates, taking up the rear.
Now, it has reversed: the zombie and pirate armies rush to the front, the cloned and transformed beings follow behind, and the Kuja warriors bring up the rear.
When the army reached the haunted house, tactics that could instil fear in any force were put on full display for the king of the haunted house at night.
Pirates jolted awake from drunkenness or sleep and rushed out of the haunted house, weapons in hand, ready to fight the enemy.
What greeted them was a swarm of unarmed zombies covered in bandages.
These zombies clung tightly to the pirates like face huggers.
Huh-boom!
Before the pirates could even comprehend what kind of creature it was, they were already overwhelmed.
A golden laser shot through the night like a shooting star, striking the zombies and pirates with precision.
The impact was like a cannonball exploding, producing a mushroom cloud of flames that bloomed in the darkness.
When the cloud dissipated, the zombies and pirates lay on the ground, their bodies covered in scorched black marks, with faint white mist rising from them.
The pirates' eyes were rolled back, mouths agape, and like their bodies, they emitted a thin trail of white mist, their fate uncertain.
The zombies, however, slowly rose from the ground after a brief pause, quickly returning to their original forms and continuing their assault on the nearby pirates.
Just like this one, an entire army of zombies moved in the same manner.
After latching onto the pirates, they were either struck by lasers from the cloners behind them or slain by the shadowless pirates wielding their weapons or by those pirates being manipulated by servants.
Before long, the pirates who had rushed out of the haunted house's gate were wiped out once more.
Then, 20,000 soldiers from the three legions flooded into the haunted house.
A three-way battle between humans cloned humans and zombies immediately erupted inside the haunted house.
The situation caught the Beasts Pirates completely off guard—they didn't even have time to prepare or react.
The low-end combat power was systematically eliminated by the undead zombie army.
The mid-level fighters, those who had mastered one or two types of Haki, were relentlessly attacked by Gekko Moria, who had sneaked into the haunted house using shadow teleportation and was discovered using Haki. He fought with ferocity.
Against a Shichibukai who had regained his Haki, these mid-range combatants were just as helpless as the low-end ones.
As for the high-ranking officers like Jack and Sasaki, they were targeted by Sonia, whose unique perception allowed her to find them.
An unprecedented crisis quietly loomed over their heads.
Tonight, on Onigashima, many will die, and much blood will be shed... but it will be the Beasts Pirates who suffer!
A one-sided war raged beneath the roof. On the rooftop, where the Captain clashed with the captain, the Vice-captain faced the Vice-captain, and the outcome was just as one-sided.
...The warm-up is over.
With just a single perception, Hancock was completely reassured after seeing the three legions execute the Master's tactics to perfection, turning the battle into a one-sided affair.
With her mind at ease, Hancock turned her full attention back to King. On her stunningly beautiful face, she revealed a cold, elegant smile and said, "If you haven't improved in the past few years, then this fight will be over quickly."
Zzzzz...
As soon as she finished speaking, the electric snakes that had been swirling around Hancock suddenly became more violent.
Their numbers increased, the arcs grew larger, and the sound of crackling electricity became more intense.
Within moments, Hancock was enveloped in a brilliant blue and white lightning aura.
Suddenly, King seemed to witness something unbelievable, and the pupils beneath his black helmet shrank.
A ray of purple light tore through the pitch-black night.
That ray of light was like an electric arc.
From King's perspective, Hancock was still glowing with intense electric light, but the colour had shifted from blue and white to a menacing purple that radiated an aura of destruction and dominance.
"Five Billion Volts... Lightning Kick!"
Now glowing with purple lightning, Hancock didn't use her usual electric field teleportation to appear behind Jhin for a sneak attack.
Instead, she relied on physical prowess to move at high speed, charging directly at King.
As she took a step forward, Hancock's specially crafted golden high heels, with the power of a massive physical force, smashed the ground beneath her and transformed into a dazzling purple light, rushing straight towards King.
Her movement style was very similar to Kizaru's light-speed travel.
In the blink of an eye, Hancock appeared before King.
With the momentum she had built up, she unleashed a powerful lightning kick in a sweeping motion.
In response, King, towering over Hancock, didn't need to make any grand moves. He simply gathered Haki on his foot and lightly lifted it, just as he had done with previous defensive measures, blocking Hancock's kick.
But in the next moment, the expression under King's helmet suddenly changed dramatically.
