Sea Circle Calendar, January 1, 1511.
The state of preparation for the "Cross Family" lasted for a month and a half.
During this period, Kahn made five more trips to Wano.
Each time, he brought 2,500 weakened Pacifistas.
Including the first batch, Aren helped Kahn mature a total of 15,000 weakened Pacifistas.
As a result, the strength of the "Cross Legion" surged to 15,000.
Adding in the members of the Kuja Pirates from Amazon Lily, as well as the Kingdom Guards and ordinary soldiers, the total strength of the "Cross Family" reached 17,000.
With Gekko Moria's relentless hunt, capturing shadows to create zombies and forcing those who lost their shadows to serve him temporarily, the "Cross Family" now had a force of at least 20,000.
This force may seem small compared to the Marine Headquarters, which can easily muster 100,000 elite Marines, but in the New World, whether in a franchise country or the pirate world, this is a force to be reckoned with.
Among the 20,000, at least 2,000 are Haki users who have mastered either one or both types of Haki.
Additionally, the 15,000 soldiers with laser technology and various cold weapon transformations built into their bodies possess physical strength far superior to that of ordinary people.
Each of these cyborgs, merely by releasing their laser attacks, poses a threat equivalent to a 50 million berry bounty.
Considering their enhanced physique and weaponry, their overall strength is comparable to an 80 million berry bounty.
In other words, these clones are as formidable as the interns of the Red-Haired Pirates in the original story.
Even without Haki, the cyborgs are a challenge to the Red-Haired Pirates' interns.
But unlike the limited numbers of the Red-Haired Pirates, the "Cross Family" has 15,000 of these "interns."
This force is destined to become a nightmare for the lower-tier combatants of all factions.
As Kahn continues to produce more Pacifistas, the low- and mid-tier combat capabilities of the "Cross Family" will become unparalleled.
And once he creates the Seraphim, the "Cross Family" will be unmatched in low, mid, and high-tier combat power.
Even against the World Government, with its 800-year legacy, the "Cross Family" would have the strength to challenge them.
At that point, the "Cross Family" will be the undisputed superpower.
Sea Circle Calendar, January 1, 1511, at nine o'clock in the evening.
On this night, dark clouds gathered over Wano and Onigashima.
Heavy black clouds obscured the moon and stars.
Faint white lightning flickered within the thunderclouds, rumbling ominously.
The oppressive atmosphere hung over the land and sea.
Yet, Onigashima, brightly lit and protected by its natural environment, was alive with activity. The "Beasts Pirates," who hadn't faced any major battles with other forces in a while, were holding a banquet after a busy day in Wano and Onigashima, singing and dancing as usual.
Many members of the Beasts Pirates were heavily intoxicated.
No one noticed the massive shadow gradually emerging from the dark clouds above the island as it slowly descended.
If anyone had the ability to see far in the dark, they would have realized that this shadow was actually an island ship—a colossal vessel known as the "Thriller Bark," the world's largest pirate ship, helmed by Gekko Moria, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Boom!
Under Kahn's control, the Thriller Bark landed on Onigashima at a measured pace.
Onigashima is a relatively small island, and the Thriller Bark is about a third of its size.
However, Kahn didn't aim to land the Thriller Bark in the centre of Onigashima.
In this world, where strong individuals possess heightened senses, especially those with Observation Haki, dropping the Thriller Bark directly in the centre could have led to Kaido attacking it with a Bolo Breath before it even touched the ground.
Instead, Kahn used his unique perception to choose the most strategic landing spot carefully, positioning the Thriller Bark in a way that increased the island's weight.
This would force Kaido to exert more stamina to maintain the island with his Flame Clouds.
Kahn had already begun calculating Kaido's stamina long before the battle even started.
Roar!
The noise and tremors from the island ship's landing hadn't yet roused the members of the Beasts Pirates from their drunken slumber.
But a dragon's roar, powerful enough to shake the heavens, shattered the silence, echoing like thunder across the sky.
The roar reverberated throughout Onigashima and could even be heard across Wano, startling civilians, nobles, and even Kurozumi Orochi, pulling them out of sleep or revelry with expressions of fear, anger, or dread.
They assumed that their protector, King Kaido, had gone into another one of his drunken rages on Onigashima.
But what they didn't realize was that this dragon's roar didn't belong to Kaido. It came from another dragon, one from the New World.
The roar was so loud that the sound waves became tangible gusts of wind, blowing away the dark clouds and creating a massive halo of light in the sky over Onigashima.
This halo, formed by the moonlight breaking through the clouds, revealed the moon, stars, and a massive blue dragon with a wingspan of 180 meters, four legs, and enormous wings.
The blue dragon, having cleared the sky of clouds, opened its colossal mouth and began to form a transparent white energy sphere.
The gathered wind power compressed into a massive energy ball in front of the dragon's mouth.
Suddenly, the dragon closed its mouth, swallowing the energy ball.
Boom!
When the dragon opened its mouth again, it unleashed a colossal beam of transparent white light, roaring down towards Onigashima below.
Just as the beam of light descended, an orange-red beam of light shot up from within Onigashima's skull-shaped mountain.
The two beams of light, one descending and one rising, collided with a deafening explosion that echoed across Onigashima and Wano.
The clash tore through the night, sending a burst of white and orange flames that lit up the sky over Onigashima.
Even the coastal cities and villages of Wano could see the fiery display in the sky.
When the flames finally dissipated, the last glimmer of light passed over the blue dragon hovering in the sky and over the green dragon coiled above the skull-shaped mountain.
Two Mythical Zoan dragons, each of a different type, locked eyes.
"Kaido, it's my turn this time..." The blue dragon grinned, his voice echoing across Onigashima. "Let's have a war that decides everything!"
"Oh ho ho ho..." Despite being the one attacked, Kaido wasn't angry. Instead, he grinned with excitement and roared back, "Bring it on, Kahn!"
This battle might have come out of nowhere, but as Kahn said, let's put everything on the line.
Only war can determine the true value of individuals.
Now, it's time for everyone to prove their worth!
Strength rules all, and respect is given to the strongest!
