Chapter 67 - Open-Air Volleyball, Classic Scene

The time came to the end of July of 1503 in the Sea Circle Calendar.

After more than half a month of rush work, their ship finally completed its internal renovation.

Externally, the ship's appearance remained unchanged. The colour scheme was still blue and white, and the bow featured a full-body image of Kahn. It was a medium-sized brig with two masts, two main sails, and six jibs.

However, there were subtle changes on the deck and the roof of the cabin.

First, the deck at the bow was covered with a lawn, while the deck at the stern was transformed into a Little Garden specifically for growing flowers and vegetables.

On the roof of the cabin, there was now open-air furniture and an additional open-air swimming pool that could be opened and closed freely.

The cabin interior underwent dramatic changes.

Previously, the two largest cabins were used to store treasures, leaving the rooms undecorated and empty.

Despite being a 100-meter medium-sized sailboat, it only had a living room, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping room, and a gym dedicated to training.

Robin used to read either on the deck or in the living room and room.

But now, the cabins feature a viewing hall, dance hall, bar, wine cellar, coffee shop, small casino, library, indoor swimming pool, indoor court, indoor shooting range, and aquarium. There was even a large bathhouse.

In the future, when bored, Kahn and his team no longer have to just ride the Weiba, enjoy the sea breeze, or swim in the sea.

Just like now...

They set up a makeshift volleyball court on the lawn deck of their ship as it sailed towards Long Ring Long Island.

Robin and Scarlett, as well as Hancock and Mary, were playing open-air volleyball in pairs, wearing bikinis of different colours.

And Kahn was holding a camera, frantically taking pictures beside them.

These were all memorable scenes that Kahn had to save!

In the original story, what impressed Kahn the most was the scene of Nami and Robin playing volleyball two years after the original storyline.

The image of the turbulent waves left a lasting impression on Kahn.

And now, Hancock and the other three girls were recreating that classic scene.

Kahn decided that after a while, he would introduce basketball from his previous life, teach the rules to Robin and the others, and then play volleyball with them, re-enacting the act of catching the ball with both hands and breaking the press.

Seeing Kahn taking pictures of them, Hancock and the other's desire to win grew stronger.

Gradually, the game became more intense.

In the end, the two sisters, Hancock and Mary, won.

No surprise there. Even without Haki and Devil Fruit abilities, Hancock's physique was the strongest among the four girls.

Her physique wasn't just about strength but also flexibility.

Despite being 1.91 meters tall, Hancock, like a beautiful snake, could pose in various difficult positions.

As the master-servant relationship between Kahn and Hancock deepened, Kahn felt a great sense of joy.

For the next week, Kahn and his crew enjoyed the brand-new ship.

The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were often occupied by Scarlett, Sonia, and Koala, who were not yet Devil Fruit users.

Robin was frequently found in the library, coffee shop, or viewing hall.

Whenever someone couldn't find her, they would check these three places and find her there.

Hancock and Mary often spent time at the indoor shooting range, practising the archery skills essential to the Kuja pirates.

After discovering her talent for archery, Hancock's gold jewellery and protective gear no longer transformed into a golden staff but a golden longbow.

Hancock also asked the fashionable Robin to help design a pair of high heels.

Using Electric metallurgy, Hancock created a pair of golden high heels, mixing the gold with silver for a unique touch.

In this way, Hancock's lightning kick became even faster.

Now, Hancock is focusing on archery and kicking, as well as mastering the Marine Six Styles and Haki.

As time quietly turned over the last page of July and came to August, Kahn continued to enrich their experiences.

During this time, Kahn took Scarlett's group on a trip to Sky Island, reaching a height of 10,000 meters to admire its beauty.

They also visited Alabasta, a massive island with an ancient human country that boasts a history of thousands of years and a population of tens of millions.

Finally, Kahn brought Robin and the others to Drum Island, where they began their first business venture while admiring the snowy landscape.

This business involved learning from the memories of the Drum Island doctors. Kahn aimed to understand the types of medicines, how to obtain them, and how to make them into potions.

By mastering this knowledge, Kahn could acquire seeds through black market channels and have the little people help him cultivate them.

The future Cross Family would undoubtedly be involved in the drug business, aiming to become a giant in this field.

Eventually, Kahn brought Robin and the others to Prehistoric Island.

This island is home to a large number of ancient creatures that are extinct elsewhere, as well as poisonous insects carrying viruses known as "incurable diseases" in the outside world.

Additionally, there are legends of two giants living here: Blue Ogre Dorry and Red Ogre Brogy, who were the captains of the Giant Soldiers Pirates nearly a hundred years ago. They have been fighting on Prehistoric Island for eighty-three years.

Their battle began because of a dispute over whose prey was bigger, leading to a hundred-year-long fight. This conflict also led to the decline of the Giant Soldiers Pirates, which was once the overlord of the Grand Line.

Their childlike reasons for fighting add an element of innocence to their story.

The pure giant race is already one of the world's most powerful nations. If the giant race were not pure, this race and country would become a serious problem for the World Government.

After landing on the island, Kahn used telekinesis to bring wine from the wine cellar and made friends with Dorry and Brogy, who hadn't had good wine in years.

The giants immediately liked Kahn, and while drinking, Kahn used his natural Observation Haki to learn the cultivation method of the "Glory Spear," the proudest technique of the giant family, from their memories.

The three guns of glory are the strongest moves among Elbaf's giant warriors, collectively known as the "Hero's Gun."

This move, similar to Elizabello II's "King's Punch," can create a very terrifying shock wave, easily destroying a fortress and sending thousands of objects flying.

This technique is especially suitable for people with huge bodies.

Kahn could also use this move after transforming into a full-body dragon, and its power would be comparable to a dragon's breath.

The battle with Sengoku made Kahn realize his own shortcomings, highlighting the need to enrich his arsenal.

In addition to the "Hero's Gun," there are two other Guns of Glory, both weapon techniques.

One of these techniques is "Prestige," famously used by Charlotte Linlin, and the other is the combined skill "Hakoku."

When two superpowers use "Hakoku" simultaneously, it is promoted to "Hakoku Sovereignty."

"Hakoku Sovereignty" is recognized as the strongest fusion skill in the pirate world before Kahn's arrival.
