Chapter 58 - Thunder Vs Light, Dragon Vs Big Buddha

"It's actually Logia Rumble Fruit?!"

As soon as Sengoku rushed to the battlefield, he was immediately drawn to Hancock, who was clashing with Kizaru in a fierce display of kicking skills.

Seeing Hancock, whose body was enveloped in electric light, much like Kizaru's dazzling golden light, the well-informed Sengoku immediately recognized her fruit ability.

His heart sank suddenly.

Sure enough, he has become a force to be reckoned with!

As a Mythical Zoan user and someone who has dealt with pirates on the front lines, Sengoku knew better than anyone the power of a natural destroyer coupled with the advantages of a Mythical Zoan.

Charlotte Linlin and Kaido, each possessing one of these traits, became overlords in the era of great pirates.

With both advantages, Kahn was even harder to kill than Kaido once he passed through his weakest stage.

Such a monster, even as a lone ranger, could become as formidable as Patrick Redfield.

And now, beside this monster, there was the legendary Logia Rumble Fruit user as a helper.

This combination reminded Sengoku not of himself and Kizaru but of the legendary partnership of Roger and Rayleigh.

If they didn't seize this chance to kill them before they reached their peak in their thirties, the pirate world would surely enter an era ruled by this pair.

Thinking of this, Sengoku immediately yelled at Kizaru, "Borsalino, stop being lazy! Give it your all and arrest that woman!"

**Swish**

After shouting, Sengoku's body began to emit a dazzling golden light.

In the dazzling light, Sengoku's already 2.78-meter-tall body began to grow rapidly, soon transforming into a golden Buddha over ten meters high.

**Boom!**

In his giant Buddha form, Sengoku kicked off the ground, crushing the resin floor under his feet. He leapt tens of meters into the air with surprising speed for his size, descending toward Kahn.

During the descent, Sengoku raised his golden palm, which was covered with a layer of transparent white light waves similar to those from the Shock Fruit.

This light wave was the superpower accompanying the Zoan Human-Human Fruit, Model: Buddha—the shock wave.

It was this shock wave that made Sengoku a match for Whitebeard, as it could block Whitebeard's shockwaves without consuming Haki.

Similarly, this shock wave could ignore external defences and directly damage the internal body, like Armament Haki's internal destruction and Conqueror's Haki infusion.

This shock wave was one of the few abilities capable of breaking through Kahn's natural destroyer defences.

Sengoku didn't hold back, just as Kong had instructed him. If Kahn wasn't dealt with soon, in a few years, when Kong abdicated and Sengoku took over, Kahn would become a headache.

In more than ten years, Sengoku would no longer be at his peak, while Kahn and the Logia Rumble Fruit user would just be entering theirs.

The thought of dealing with such monsters in his old age made Sengoku's scalp tingle.

Thus, Sengoku wanted to eliminate this threat now.

Observing Sengoku's inner thoughts with his Observation Haki, Kahn felt speechless for a moment.

Good grief, thinking about the future already? Is this the famous Resourceful General?

At the same time, Kahn's body began to emit a dazzling blue force wave.

Then his body expanded at a visible speed, transforming from a human to a huge blue-sky dragon.

**Boom**

In the process of growing, Kahn also raised his huge dragon claw, clenched his fist with a layer of blue telekinetic force wave, and met Sengoku's Buddha palm.

The dragon fist and Buddha's palm collided, but unlike the clash between Kizaru and Hancock, no special effects burst forth.

Instead, a blue energy wall and a transparent white energy wall expanded from their hands.

Much like the Conqueror's Haki infusion clash, the fists and palms of the dragon and Buddha didn't physically touch but collided in the air.

Astonishing shock waves and telekinetic waves surged out from the hands of the dragon and Buddha.

At that moment, the dragon and Buddha, whose size gap was becoming increasingly obvious, seemed to be holding two shields of different colours, wrestling with each other.

The final result was the golden Buddha, over ten meters high, being pushed back by the sky dragon.

The gap was too large.

Originally, Sengoku was above Kahn, but after Kahn transformed into his nearly 100-meter full-body form, he was on top, and Sengoku was below.

Kahn, having reached his full form, saw his comprehensive strength evaluation rise from A to A+, or S to S+.

The skyrocketing comprehensive strength allowed Kahn to shift from passive to active.

By increasing the consumption of physical energy and converting it into an astonishing wave of mental energy, Kahn won this contest.

As a Mythical Zoan, Sengoku's normal state was far inferior to Kahn's natural destroyer physique, and the gap in physical fitness was even more pronounced.

So, the speed at which he converted physical energy into shock waves couldn't match Kahn's.

"Roar!"

After pushing Sengoku away, the sky dragon let out a deafening roar.

The terrifying sound waves, combined with telekinetic power controlling the wind, turned into a huge cyclone, spreading in all directions.

Even Kizaru and Hancock felt pain in their ears and had to stop fighting temporarily, turning their heads to look at the blue sky dragon like a hill.

"Is this the full body of the Master?" Hancock marvelled.

The terrifying scene left everyone in awe as the sky dragon's roar echoed throughout the battlefield, signalling the arrival of a new era.

Looking at the awe-inspiring, terrifying aura of the Heavenly Dragon, Hancock, who regards strength as beauty, suddenly blushed.

Holding her cheeks in her hands, she looked at the Heavenly Dragon she saw for the first time in reality and said obsessively, "So handsome! So beautiful!"

"Little girl, your aesthetics are terrible."

Hearing Hancock's words, Kizaru once again showed an embarrassed expression and complained.

"What are you talking about, you ugly bastard?!"

Hancock immediately showed a master-level change of expression, looking at Kizaru with a vicious face as the ear-piercing sound of electric current sizzled from her body.

In the next second, Hancock, burning with anger, instantly disappeared from Kizaru's sight.

Kizaru, however, calmly raised his foot to gather the golden light, took out his cigarette case unhurriedly, and put a cigarette in his mouth, saying, "It's useless, little girl. With your level of Haki, you can't hurt me."

Of course, Kizaru left another thought unspoken: he couldn't hurt Hancock either.

In their previous battle, Kizaru wasn't just on the defensive. Several times, he covered his attacks with powerful Armament Haki, trying to damage Hancock.

However, his moves failed to land, just as Hancock's attacks failed to harm him.

The gap between Kizaru and Hancock's Haki was clear. Hancock's Armament Haki was far inferior to Kizaru's, while Kizaru's Observation Haki, which was much stronger than his Armament Haki, couldn't match Hancock's enhanced Observation Haki with radio waves.

Unless one of them had future sight or exhausted the other's Haki and stamina, the duel between Thunder and Light, like Aokiji and Akainu's duel of ice and magma, would be a very long and protracted battle.

Just as Kizaru used practical actions to calm the furious Hancock, accepting the fact that he couldn't hurt this monstrous opponent, another battle continued to rage.

After transforming and letting out a roar to vent his soaring strength, Kahn, now a giant dragon, seemed infected by Zoan's wildness. His blood boiled with fighting spirit.

After roaring, the Heavenly Dragon took heavy steps, each one leaving huge dragon claw footprints on the resinous earth as he charged towards the golden Buddha.

At the same time, the Heavenly Dragon clenched his dragon claw into a fist, covering it with a layer of blue telekinetic wave.

But this time, the blue light wave on the Dragon Fist gradually turned into a transparent white colour, similar to the shock wave of the Great Buddha, at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Witnessing the colour change, Sengoku's Observation of Haki and their battle experience told him he was in danger.

Never let this wave of light touch your Buddha body!

Sengoku raised the Buddha's palm again, condensing a transparent white shock wave. He then leapt into the air, like a huge golden arrow, aiming for the dragon's head.

Seeing that Sengoku's target was his head, the Heavenly Dragon immediately punched.

**Boom!**

The speed of the dragon's punch didn't match his massive body size at all. Sengoku, also surprisingly fast for his size, couldn't dodge in mid-air and swung his Buddha's palm to collide with the dragon fist that condensed the transparent white light waves.

When the two transparent white light waves burst out their energy, Sengoku realized why the telekinetic wave changed from blue to transparent white.

It contained... the power of the wind!

**Huuuuuuu... Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi!!!**

The whistling sound of howling wind reached the ears of Sengoku, Kizaru, and Hancock and even spread throughout the entire island and the neighbouring ones.

A cyclone formed by a hurricane spread out from the dragon's feet, covering half the island in mere moments.

The terrifying gust of wind not only blew everything away, but wind blades appeared out of thin air, leaving slashing traces on the resinous ground and the red mangrove trees.

Some mangrove trees were split into pieces by the wind blades.

The sound of tearing cloth resounded continuously.

**Clang Clang**

The battle between Kizaru and Hancock was interrupted again, their bodies cut into photons and electric currents by the invisible wind blades.

On the other hand, Sengoku's indestructible Buddha body resounded with constant metal collision sounds.

A series of wind blades appeared in the hurricane.

Then, under Kahn's telekinetic control, they avoided the energy wall formed by the shock wave and struck Sengoku's body from different angles.

Unfortunately, the light wave that compressed the power of the wind didn't burst from Sengoku's body. Most of the energy only destroyed the island's terrain.

Such minor wind blades couldn't break Sengoku's Buddha body defence, even without Armament Haki.

Seeing this, a blue light flashed across Kahn's long and narrow red vertical pupils.

He was about to enter "full power mode"!
