she added surprising Gerald when he saw that she had not followed her back to the country, he had thought that her family was blocking her there but he never expected the case to be totally different from what he had thought.
"I am sorry," he said as he knew that he had once again misled her but what could he do when he needed her family's connections and resources?
"I investigated why you were calling me back and when I found out that you were being pushed had been pushed to the corner and that you even sold the other company that you had been so proud of abroad, I was shocked. I eventually understood why you called me here," Carol said in a serious tone then smirked before bending to get close to Gerald.
"You need me! Without my help, you and your family can just want to be poor after declaring bankruptcy," Carol said with a smile.
Not because she was happy with what the latter was going through but because it seemed that the heavens were on her side.
