Chapter 2 - South?

Earlier that day

"Oh my! Your dress looks even more dirty today, here let me help"

*Splash drenched*... " Hahaha make sure you clean this up bastard" *walk away*

I stood head down staring at my completely wet clothes, then looked up expressionless, "it was even the water i used after cleaning" picking up the bucket i sighed and walked to change to my other set of the house's maids uniform not letting a single of their remarks embarrass of phase me

I resumed my dilligent cleaning and dusting of the mansion that i grew up in.

My parents are no where to be seen and i was taken in by the 'Leovokseren' family, who im told are the people who found me

*Sqeezing hard on the brush* but the younger bitch sister of this family are just too much "retard, good for nothing, ill-mannered piece of.."

"What was that?" ah her older brother and one of the kindest to me including his father

"You must have heard wrong.."

"Really? I could have sworn you were cursing my sister"

"Oh why would i do that... I was thinking about something else"

*Smiles* "mhmm.. the reason i came was to invite you to go get more books"

"Our country is about to go into war with the south and you want to go shopping for books? Where did your brain end up?"

"Still in my head, see you at noon Jade"

" Until then Brother Ivor"

I wore my usual maids uniform to and from the book shop with Brother Ivor for company and kept my fresh books in my room with a smile

"Hmm the dirty, unpolished Jade is back welcome" my face became expressionless again the bitch from before was back "Tomorah im not in the mood for your taunts today i expect that you dont bully a mear servant" (are you that jobless?)

" Ugh you are disturbing so i need to clean up" (a stain to the family name)

" You never clean up do you?" (Why this all of a sudden, im done bickering)

I pushed her aside and walked away... I came back in the evening when it was time for me to sleep but my reading glasses were smashed up and my new books covered in water

" Do they never tire?" This happens all of the time anyway so i leave her alone, she knows that she cant tear them because Brother Ivor got them for me and she respects him a lot THE COWARD

I put them on the windowsill and quit reading for the night Brother Ivor will get me glasses anyways...
