Leviathan, 1 million kilometers (621 371 miles) from the earth's solar system.
The interior of the Leviathan was silver in colour with blue LED lights running across the walls, ceilings and floor in a variety of patterns. The lights provided the ship with lighting and it also made it look a little more sophisticated. It was easy to tell that the interior designer of the ship had watched a few too many fantasy movies.
Inside the bridge of the ship was the command room, where all the controls were located in the front. At the center of the bridge was a circular table of diameter four meters. The table was also surrounded by six chairs evenly spaced from each other, six figures currently sat atop these very chairs. These six were the last remaining humans in the universe, the Paladins.
One of the Paladins stood up. "Greetings fellow Paladins, my name is Jack Wolfe, Australia. My speciality is outdoor survival, flora and fauna identification, wildlife containment, transportation, tracking and extermination. I finished high school at 10 years old and spent the next five years alone in the Australian outback. I am proficient in every martial art and can bench press 200 kilograms (441 pounds)". He said before sitting back down.
Jack was 1.8 meters (5'9") tall, with short black hair and a well trimmed moustache. His golden skin lacked any imperfection and his blue eyes radiated unquenchable curiosity. Like all the other Paladins, he wore a black one-piece sleeveless jumpsuit with white vertical lines across the chest and back. The only difference between his suit and the others was that his had his name engraved on the left side of the chest.
The others nodded at Jack's introduction before another Paladin stood. "Greetings Jack and fellow Paladins, my name is Pei Chao-xing, Asia. My speciality is technology discovery, development and creation. I finished High School at 8 years old, university at 11, then spent the past 10 years studying and developing all kinds of tech. I actually programmed most of this ship's functions. I have never tried bench pressing anything". she said.
Pei was 1.5 meters (4'9") tall, with long black hair and pale white skin like she had never seen the sun. Her black eyes matched her hair and her small face made them look larger than they actually were. Her petite body only made her curves more profound.
The next Paladin stood up. "Greetings Jack, Pei and fellow Paladins, my name is Tahir Okiro, Africa. My speciality is hand to hand combat, pain physiology and torture. I finished high school at 12, then spent the remaining 9 years training all fighting styles known to man and i excelled in all of them. No human or AI controlled robot has managed to beat me in a fight ever since i was 13. I can bench press 250 kilos (551 pounds)" he said the last part while smirking at Jack.
Tahir was a literal giant of a man, standing at 2 meters (6'6") tall, he dwarfed his fellow Paladins. He had short black hair and dark skin. His biceps had their own biceps and his forearms were as thick as Pei's waist. He had a defined jaw and a nose which was a few centimeters too large for his face.
"Greetings Jack, Pei, Tahir and fellow Paladins, my name is Misty Dumont, Europe. My speciality is medicine, medical technology, anatomy, and body functionality. I finished high school at 9 and university at 13, then spent the rest of my life playing doctor in hospitals and researching medical advancements. I am actually the one who created and cured the great epidemic of 2017. Just like Pei, i never tried bench pressing anything", Misty said before sitting back down.
Misty was quite tall for a woman with her 1.7 (5'6") meters of height, She had a tanned skin tone and a delicate face. She looked more like a 6 year old put in the body of a twenty year old. She wore white rimmed glasses which went well with her blonde hair. Her bright blue eyes and full lips made her the object of a number of men's affection back on earth.
"Hie Misty". Jack and Tahir said in unison before looking at each other threateningly. The Paladins were the most impressive humans in history, but there were still hormonal human teenagers.
The other Paladins ignored the two boy's behaviour. "Greetings, Jack, Pei, Tahir, Misty and other fellow Paladin. My name is Sara Quinn, America. My speciality is weapon identification, creation, destruction, use and defense. I finished high school at 10 and university at 14, then i spent the rest of my life designing the weapons for this ship and training new recruits at various military bases. I can bench press 180 kilos (397 pounds)". she smiled the last part and sat down.
Sara was quite tall for a woman, with her 1.9 (6'2") meters of height she was only bested by Tahir in that regard. She had dark skin due to her long hours in the sun and a short buzz cut hair. Her masculine body did not manage to take away her feminine nature at all, instead it emphasized her curves and the tight Paladin uniform did not help. She had a sharp nose and piercing yellow eyes.
Jack was about to comment but the talking eye he got from Tahir shut his mouth.
The last Paladin stood up. "Greetings Jack, Pei, Tahir, Misty and Sara. My name is Hugo Larsen. My speciality is this ship, and i have been on this ship my whole life". He said before sitting back down.
Hugo was quite short for a man his age, standing at 1.5 (5 feet) meters he was just a few centimeters taller than Pei. He had unkempt brown hair which almost covered his eyes and very pale skin. Misty was almost tempted to check on his health. Compared to the boys and Sara, Hugo barely had any muscle on his body. His brown eyes reflected his curious nature and excitement for the journey ahead.
"Hugo, what do you mean your speciality is the ship?" Jack asked.
"According to my parents, as soon as my mother got pregnant they came and lived here", he gestured to his surroundings. "The leaders wanted me to know the Leviathan inside out with no external influence whatsoever so i was born right here....."
"Wait when you say right here, you don't mean right on this table right?" Tahir interrupted while looking at the table like it was possessed
Hugo chuckled, "Relax dude, not on this exact spot but somewhere on the ship", he said. "Anyway, i was born and raised here. My teachers came to me and i was taught only Physics, English and Math, i was not allowed to get more than a hundred meters away from Leviathan. Actually if it wasn't for the fact that i also needed to memorise the outside of the ship, i would have been locked in here".
"Tough luck bro, it must have been hard". Jack said.
"Yeah sometimes it got a little lonely but my teachers were all smoking hot and after i turned 18 they were ordered to grant almost all my wishes and besides, this is what i was born for anyway so it's all good", Hugo shrugged.
"Okay boys, now that we are all introduced we need to....."
Sara was interrupted mid-sentence by Hugo "No wait there is still one more", he said. The other Paladins were confused for a second before a voice resounded from the walls.
"Hello Paladins, i am Leviathan..."
