I heave a sigh as I watch Jane drown herself in the world of alcohol. Heavens know why I decided that it was a good idea to accompany her to a club.
"Be the life of the party for once. Drink away your sorrows" She yells at me over the loud noise making me groan internally. Why in the world can't I have normal friends?. Why must it be the crazy ones?.
"He actually thought it was a good idea to cheat on me. Jane Collins, the daughter of Andrew Collins. I mean she got the shape and everything but seriously, he could do a better job. He made a big mistake and he is going to pay for that" She says or rather yells in my face.
"And how on earth are you going to do that?" I asked while trying to get her drink away from her. She is more than drunk at this moment.
"I dunno yet but I still have his house key with me" she smirks as she hums along with the music.
Jane is a crazy girl and the fact that she still has his key is that she is going to fuck up either the guy or the girl he cheated with or even preferably both.
"Please tell me you are not planning something crazy?" I asked while she laughs.
"I won't tell you then"
She sways left and right before she finally decides to have seat. "You know what, I am never going to fall in love again and certainly not with a douchebag". She said before passing out.
I have heard that phrase multiple times that am no longer phased about it. How she always manage to date a scumbag is beyond me. The most important question right now is how are we going to get home considering the fact that one of us is knocked out.
"You need help?" A guy asked with a smile on his face and as much as I would love to regret the offer, I can't carry this crazy being home so I had no choice than to say one thing I hate saying which is yes.....
"I feel like I got run over by a truck" Jane said as she walks over to the kitchen table in search of painkillers.
"That's what happens when you drink past your limit" I said and she scoffs.
"Pardon me for asking but how on earth did we get home last night, cause my brain cells from last night is no longer functioning and my memory has been impaired" She said as she ransacks the fridge.
"A guy helped in transporting your ass home" i explain and she frowns. "And that isn't weird" she says as she goes over to the living room.
"I needed help, you were drunk" I said in frustration.
"I wasn't that drunk" she said and I scoff.
"Babe, you called your dad when we got home asking and I quote your place or my place" I said making her drain of color. " You've got to be kidding me and you didn't stop me" she yells at my face.
"How on earth am I suppose to stop someone who think Albert Einstein is in the avengers?" I yell back making her burst into laughter.
"Please tell me I didn't get to that extent" she asks about to die from laughter. "Believe me you did much worse than that" I said before going over to my room to prepare for the day.
I go over to the table taking the order of a couple when the Juliana walks in, angry and about to cuss out like she use to.
"Who thought it was a nice decision to rant me out to Lorenzo?" She asks as I head over to the counter. Everyone stay silent not wanting to face the wrath of Juliana.
She is Lorenzo's daughter and he owns the cafe and other high quality business but for some reason, he puts Juliana in charge of the cafe which in my opinion is the worst decision he has ever made. People thinks he want her to understand what it takes to do business and be more responsible but from what have seen, the lady isn't in any mood to make her father proud.
"I believe am speaking to actual beings here and by the time I find out whoever did that, he or she will regret crossing path with me" she says before storming off.
"That went well" Thomas said before everyone went back to work.
Work went by smoothly due to the fact that Juliana did not return to the cafe and I walk over back home but I keep getting the feeling that someone is watching or following me throughout my walk home.
"Are you okay?, you look like you've just had an encounter with a ghost" Jane said as I take a seat.
"I felt as if someone was following me on my way here." I tell her and she burst out laughing.
"What in the world is funny?" I asked with annoyance over my face.
"The fact that you think someone is stalking you. As much as I love to hear about your stalker, Kyle has a job for you" she says and I frown.
Kyle is a friend of ours who gets job for us ranging from being servers at occasions to being babysitters but he has been MIA for about a month now, so this is weird.
"He said something about helping out at a big event coming up and he needs us. We are to leave in a week" she explain and I nodded.
One thing I will never understand is why rich people waste money, all the events I have helped out is always with the rich men and their extravagant lifestyle. As much as I hate it, it brings in tons of money so I didn't really have a say.
"And who knows, we might find a man like last time" She says before going to her room leaving me alone to deal with my laughter.
The last time was a mistake, a mistake that won't ever repeat itself again. A mistake that I will never allow to happen.
