ROXANNE'S POV
"What are you staring at?" I howled, standing up and leaving to give room for the busybodies to judge the situation for themselves. That was the main issue at hand, public opinion. I knew my reputation, if there was any, had already been stained with my nasty almost savage stomach-pleasing entry. So I had to salvage, pushing blame away from myself.
"Sorry. I just wanted to help you pick the.. uhm scarf" he stuttered, ignoring the red-faced Edward that I unknowingly had equally ignored "I'll get going" he hurried away, leaving me to face the situation alone.
"Hi! Edward. What are you doing here?" I picked up the scarf and wrapped it tightly around my neck and bust region.
