The sweat of terror rolled from Raymond's stomach to his feet, finding a way to wet his stockings. How could they have known about their plan so fast? His blood temperature dropped at once, causing him to hold his chest for dear life.
"An arrest?" His heart thumped, pumping excess blood into his face as he thought of the unbelievably tight situation they had managed to find themselves. Dera on the other hand was already drenched in perspiration a few seconds after the police had announced their reason for visit.
For the first time in his career, he didn't know what to do and how best to face a situation, and he didn't know what was going to happen to him.
