CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-TWO
ROXANNE'S POV
"I'm leaving," she stood up in anger and made it to the door.
"Why so soon? Don't you have other things to say? Surely, you must have heard more about me," I mocked but it fell on the air as she had already left.
"I'm not sending you away!!" I shouted after her, collapsing into a roar of laughter.
"Bloody idiot," I cursed out loud. I couldn't even believe that she had the guts to come to my office to rain insults and abuses on me, all in the pretense of asking about my well-being.
I could now understand why I had detached myself from her. It was because of her long nose that always sniffed into people's businesses and her sharp mouth that probed into other people's shitty and honey deeds.
It was shocking how she behaviourally went from being an interrogator to a know-it-all person.
