Chapter 53 - Chapter 53: The Amazing Spider-Man B

"So, you are also a Spider-Man from another world?" Spider-Man in the tattered pants asked, surprised.

Well, it might not be polite to call him Spider-Man in tattered Pants.

According to what he said, he comes from a parallel universe numbered Earth-616. Originally Peter B. Parker, people there sometimes call him the Amazing Spider-Man.

When Peter was grabbed by the Amazing Spider-Man and pulled out of the coffin, a new node appeared on the glowing spider web in his mind: Earth-616B.

This corresponds to the universe of the Amazing Spider-Man in front of us.

Therefore, his full code name should be: Amazing Spider-Man B.

On the other side, the little black boy who stood stiffly like a dog and kept "secretly" glancing at him was named Miles Morales.

To Peter's surprise, even shock, Miles too has spider powers!

After contacting him, Peter also gained a world node from him.

But this node is the same as the node of the Spider-Man body he is currently fused with.

All are Earth-1610B.

This shows that Miles originally belongs to this world, and the Amazing Spider-Man B, like him, is a visitor from a parallel universe.

The only difference between the two is that Peter came over in the form of a soul consciousness, while Amazing Spider-Man B came over directly in physical body.

Because of this, a strange phenomenon appeared on him.

Sometimes The Amazing Spider-Man B's body will flash a few times or even become distorted.

According to the inferences of Peter and Amazing Spider-Man B, this situation is likely a rejection reaction caused by the difference between the quanta that make up Amazing Spider-Man B's body and the quanta of this world.

Although from a macro perspective, every parallel universe is similar, and there even seems to be a Peter Parker or similar existence.

But in fact, from a microscopic perspective, the differences between each world are quite large.

For example, although the several Peter Parkers Peter meets now all eventually became Spider-Man, the differences between them are quite significant.

Both Noir Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man lost Uncle Ben, but Peter's Aunt May didn't even have a boyfriend.

Noir Spider-Man lives in the era of the Great Depression. He likes to use pistols as weapons and will execute criminals completely when necessary. His personality tends to be radical.

The Amazing Spider-Man and Peter are both in a relatively peaceful era. Although there are many problems, it is much better than the dark era of Noir Spider-Man.

And there is a big age difference between them.

Noir Spider-Man is 20 years old (it is not mentioned in the comics, but later in the Spider-Verse it was mentioned that Mary Jane joined the International Army in 1937. Assuming that she was 24 years old when she graduated from college, she would be 20 years old in 1933. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you).

The Amazing Spider-Man is 17 years old (senior year of high school, he is interviewing for college in The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

And Peter himself is 15 years old.

As for the fourth Peter Parker he met, he was already 39 years old.

He said he started being Spider-Man when he was 17 years old and has been doing it for 22 years now.

When Peter knew this and excitedly wanted to get some tips on being Spider-Man from this "veteran", the advice he got was: Don't be Spider-Man.

Peter was confused.

Now, he has just started being Spider-Man, and he still maintains a high degree of enthusiasm for this matter.

Peter ate the bread and drank heavily.

This body had been buried in the soil for several days, and its bodily functions began to gradually deteriorate, which was why he was unable to lift up the coffin before.

But after he took over, the body's physical functions miraculously recovered!

As a result, Peter began to feel an endless sense of hunger and thirst.

He felt like he could really eat a cow alive!

Unfortunately, there was no cow for him to swallow.

And with Miles' pocket money, it was only enough to buy him a few pieces of bread.

The water supply is sufficient. After all, Miles has a water purifier at home, so the water can be drunk directly.

But these few pieces of bread are really not very filling, right?

There was no other way, Miles could only secretly get something from the refrigerator for Peter to eat.

He doesn't know how he will explain to his parents when they find out tomorrow that he got up late at night and ate a week's worth of food from his family.

Peter's body is like a bottomless pit, and his body's digestive ability has been pushed to the extreme by itself. What goes into the stomach is quickly digested and converted into energy, and then the energy is quickly absorbed by the cells.

With the continuous intake of food, he felt that this body was also rapidly recovering its vitality, gradually becoming stronger than his original one!

"Are you really not Peter?" Miles asked Peter a little disappointed.

Peter poured a plate of cold noodles into his mouth and ate it. Hearing Miles' question, he spread his hands and said, "I am Peter, but I am not the Peter you know. Is that clear enough?"

"But you're using his body!" Miles was a little excited. He admired Spider-Man very much, so Peter's behavior seemed to him a kind of sacrilege.

"Shall I leave then?" Peter made a gesture as if he was about to close his eyes and fall asleep.

"No, no, no, no," Amazing Spider-Man B quickly grabbed him.

Just kidding, you finally have a reliable teammate, how could you let him go?

As for Miles?

Just don't count on him.

This guy looks very unreliable at first glance.

Just now, when Peter was eating to replenish energy, they had roughly figured out the ins and outs of the matter.

The cause of the matter was that the Kingpin of this world created a particle collider, and the Spider-Man of this world (later known as the Blonde Spider-Man) went to stop it, but due to an accident, Spider-Man was killed by the Kingpin.

Before Spider-Man died, he gave Miles the reload key of the particle collider, asking him to find a way to insert it into the host interface of the particle collider to destroy it.

And the intuition of Amazing Spider-Man B told him that he would be suddenly brought into this world, and it should be related to the particle collider.

So what he wants to do is go back through the particle collider.

In theory, just plug the reload key into the particle collider and it's done.

However, there is a "point" problem in a very critical link.

The reload key handed to Miles by the blond Spider-Man is broken!

Despite Miles' repeated quibbles, the reload key was inherently defective.

But Peter, who has interrogation skills, and the mature Amazing Spider-Man B, who is good at observing people's emotions, saw his guilty conscience at a glance.

This naughty kid!
