After leaving the Eternal Vine, Holly did not feel like logging off as she had initially planned; seeing Eagle's Light snap on her and lose her cool was somewhat satisfying.
The other girl's words didn't affect Holly. It was as clear as a crystal that the girl was filled with envy and considered Holly inferior to her.
The entire idea of inviting her to their guild was most likely not her idea; Holly had long realized that the elven woman was vain and petty; it was simply that she had nothing the other party wanted.
As Holly walked down the road, she felt like she had gained some insight into human behavior that she had not previously experienced.
Fortunately, she was not close to Eagle's Light and could easily allow the insults to roll off.
