The minotaur overseers had not yet returned from their revelry, and the usually bustling blacksmith quarters on this level had temporarily fallen silent. Only a small number of workshops remained operational.
As they were about to enter, Little Evil gently released Lister's hand and turned to him, saying:
"Um... Please wait here for a moment. I'll go bring Aleida over..."
"May I go inside to check on her?" Lister asked.
"My Lord..." Mephistopheles began, but Lister silenced her with a gesture before turning back to Little Evil.
"From what I've heard, you should have quite a few companions in similar situations. If we encounter any who need help, I believe I could be of assistance."
"Of course, if you think the risk inside isn't worth taking, I'll respect your opinion."
Little Evil remained silent for a moment before extending her hand once more.
"Alright then... The paths inside are quite convoluted. Please stay close to me..."
