[25 Years earlier...]
Fresh eyes opened for the first time in a hospital room. It was a bright room filled with medical equipment, a simple tiled floor, and blood as the child was pulled away from her mother to be examined by the doctors.
"Well, looks like someone is ready to see the world, aren't we?" The doctor said as amber eyes gazed around the room and at him. The check was quick and he found no medical issues before walking over back to the mother who took the child lovingly and let it rest against her chest. "Your daughter is beautiful, and from what I can tell, as healthy as could be." The Mother nodded and looked down at the sweet little girl.
"Hello my little surprise miracle" she said to the child grasping unconsciously at her finger as she touched the small palm.
The little newborn blinked as she continued to take stock of the situation around her and realized she was reincarnated.
"Well, looks like I must start from the bottom all over again hmm? At least this world seems more advanced than my first life. I even have parents." The child thought as she tried to absorb all she could. Above the women a man was gripping his hand as it racked with pain, given his wife's aggressive strength. He smiled down at his second child with mirth as she looked right at him.
"Welcome to the world sweetheart, if a bit late in the game for us" the man said. His wife gazed at him with a frown and he just chuckled. It was true that both were in their early forties and weren't expecting the pregnancy.
"Oh Whatever, go call our son and let him know that his little sister is happy and healthy" The mother said and the father obliged and left as the nurses continued to clean up both the room and her. They would have to take the child for a few tests but could wait to give the two a bonding moment. As the father left the room and took off his scrubs he pulled out his phone and made a call. it ringed maybe once before being picked up.
"What's the word old man" a southern draw rang out that made the father chuckle.
"You've got a happy and healthy baby sister, Texas boy" the father said, making his son on the line chuckle.
"Aww, come on pops, you know Florida is still in my blood" he said earning a chuckle from both the father and a feminine laugh from the phone.
"Yeah, well now that your mother has a second child even before her first grandchild from her married son, we best hear some good news soon you hear" the father sarcastically demanded. It earned some laughter as the son responded.
"Oh don't you worry, we're working on it" he chuckled out, earning him a slap on the chest from what the father could hear. "Oh! what name did you guys finally decide on" The father smiled as he looked back to the delivery room doors.
"Nora," the man said.

[One Year Later- in a two-story home in Tallahassee, FL]
"Looks like she's enjoying the game" a blonde haired young man laughs as he watches his baby sister in front of him. The infant is gazing at the T.V. screen as it plays the current football game. The young man's father, sitting close, laughs with him and shakes his head.
"Probably, the girl absorbs just about all she can on the damn thing whenever we put her in front of it. Couldn't give a sh- darn about any toys as they just bore her to death. Hel- heck, she was watching the local news with me when she woke us up this morning." The younger man raised a brow at his dad before bringing his eyes back to the back of his little sister's bald head. He's quick to feel a jab in his side as his father elbows him with a playful frown. "Your mother is convinced that she's gonna be just like you and her and head to college for some fancy degree!"
"Oh stop it hon, you make it sound like having a trade like you is a bad thing. Who knows, she might pick up wielding, carpentry, or heavens above...Plumbing" the Young man's mother says as she walks in with snacks. Behind her is a young woman, the young man's wife, who's carrying drinks.
"Dinners in, should be ready in about an hour" the younger women says as they all sit down and start just talking about this and that. As they do, Nora tunes them out and looks inward as her eyes keep on the game. While she had picked up English awhile ago, she still wanted a better picture about the world's strongest sects, the laws that govern the lesser people, and where her new family stood. From what it seemed, given the house she was currently living in, Nora was getting the sense she came from the high commoner class. It wasn't the best start like a nobel or royalty class, but it will keep her from standing out too much when starts to make a name for herself.
Unlike her father and brother's thoughts about her liking the game, she was actually simply listening to the commentary while taking the deepest breaths her tiny body could. With every breath she drew in the stagnant energy of her surroundings. It wasn't the purest by far, but it would do for now as she cycled it through her core and body, strengthening her physical self ever so slowly. Only when these "ads" came on talking about products or places did Nora pay closer attention. She had reached the heavens in her first life, and she would again. First though was the need for knowledge to know how to act...

[Eleven years later-in a two-story home in Tallahassee, FL]
The soft sound of socks on carpet drifted out mid day as Nora flung her body in practiced forms. It was her own martial style she developed over thousands of years of combat, and one her new body had to get used to. She was already sweating and sore, but the meditation session after this would help heal her for the next day. She unwillingly sighed as she thought about the mundane "middle school life" she had to endure at the moment. This world was strange in a way. Unlike her past life where no matter how rich or powerful a city was, it was governed by brute power and nothing else. Eat or be eaten as her new father would say as he watched the news of "Politics."
Yet this world had somehow allowed the weak to control the strong. It seemed that the arts of cultivation were non-existent, or heavily neutered to the point where it was just myth to society. Due to this, it was more favorable to sing sweeter words then swing a faster blade. Or hold a larger army, then be an army of one. It allowed these "politicians", old, fat, weak looking men and women, to lead the world with promises with no backing or capability to make sure they owned up to them. Yet while this was true for some of the world's countries, it wasn't for others. It was in these third world countries that rang the closest to Nora's past life. Physical might, still with armies unfortunately for her, were the only ones that she could have been more comfortable with.
"Nora, come down for dinner my A+ baby girl!" her mother shouted, making her finish her final strike and resetting to a standing position.
"Okay, Mama!" Nora shouted in a richer pitch than one would expect from her. Breathing hard she looked at herself in the mirror and the near white blonde hair that dawned her face. A face that had already caught the attention of beauty pageant producers, sleazy men and women who held nasty ideas, and the boys in school who started puberty. Stretching while cycling her energy to help heal her body, she thought about her own puberty and the annoyance of the girls in her classes. Her, "Blooming" as her mother put it, had been a cause of jealousy for the girls around her. Thanks to her Cultivation boosting her growth she had formed the makings of a teenage body that one would call "Jailbait" by the time she hit high school. Finishing her stretch and wiping off sweat she ran down stairs to enjoy her family time.

[Six years later- House in Texas]
"Well, that's the last box!" Nora's brother said as he wiped his hands from the dirt and dust the box had on it from her parents car. Nora smiled with a nod as she was starting to set up the new room to her liking. Highschool had come and gone, a blur of self conscious kids trying to form their own personalities one mistake at a time. Nora had mostly ignored and was ignored during these years as her now six foot, well toned yet curvaceous body, and exemplary beauty of a face had made her impossible to approach. Even the horniest and popular of boys had felt she was out of their league.
That was the past though, and today was her first step into higher education. Well, what most would think was her first step. This college life was simply needed to obtain a piece of paper that told the world that her knowledge was recognized, while her actual education, if one had kept track, would show her having a rather deep knowledge base to the point of holding quite a few degrees. Still, it's what her parents wanted, and what was needed in this world to reach the top. Her cultivation was progressing well and to say she was the strongest in this world wouldn't be a stretch in the slightest. Still, it would take a supernatural time for her to reach the peak once again, let alone break past it.
As Nora continued to unpack she heard her mother crying again. With a smile she looked over to see the late fifties women holding a small baby boy as she gazed at Nora.
"Ohhh, my baby girl's all grown up," she cried.
"Mama, you're gonna wake my nephew with all that happy crying" Nora said. Her mother tried to calm down as she rocked the sleeping newborn.
"I know, I know, shhhh you're gonna be okay" her mother said looking down at the newborn. Nora smiled sadly at little buck and the tragic birth that brought him into this world. When she was younger she didn't know why her brother and his wife hadn't had a child for so long. Only during high school was she told about how her sister in-law suffered certain medical issues that made conception a risky and near impossible proposition. Still, she wanted to try anyway, and it cost her everything when she accomplished it. She had passed and left her brother as a widowed father with a newborn baby boy. This also caused Nora to find a university in Texas to help her brother care for the child, as she didn't want her family to suffer alone anymore then it already had.
She wasn't a saint by any means, but she wasn't so cold hearted to not care for her own blood.

[Five Years later-Z Day] *Small Graphic description of horrific zombie attack, it just makes sense given zombies are emotionless creatures*
"Yes brother dearest, I'm picking him up right now" Nora said in a slight southern twang over the phone. Nora smiled as she pulled into the daycare center and parked her massive truck.
"Okay, sorry, today just feels off..." Her brother said as she popped the door open and stepped out into the Texas heat. taking a breath and stretching she frowned. Her blossoming divine sense was raising her own hackles as she walked to the front door.
"You're not alone there...I'll call you when he's in the car okay?" Nora said as she noticed that there was nobody in the front lobby of the daycare from the other side of the glass door.
"Thanks, appreciate you sis" her brother said before hanging up. She tried to smirk but as she touched the door handle everything felt wrong. No, it felt sick in ways that made her worry for her nephew. Still, she tempered her response as she opened the door, as she didn't want to end up in the news by ripping a metal and glass door off its hinges. That changed however as the copper scent of fresh blood struck her nose and soon the door was flying away at a considerable speed. Immediately her senses, which she suppressed most of the time as to keep her reactions to a human level, were dialed to ten as she moved like lighting through the daycare. It wasn't a big building and as such didn't take her any time to clock and catalog everything down to the dust in the air.
The Lobby, while originally thought to be deserted, was actually hiding a half eaten receptionist behind the counter.
"Animals?" she thought as she moved past the scene to a long hallway with sets of doors on both sides. Buck's room was the furthest right, and from what she could see open and marred with bloody handprints. As she dashed through the hall she saw each door bashed open and blood soaked bodies...child bodies on the floor. It caused her to move even faster as each new room told her what she was dealing with. As some of those bodies were twitching and moving, rising from the ground. This was the undead, necromantic practices, and a death sect's bread and butter. Yet, it was too bloody, too wasteful for them, and too weak of a subject to want to rise as soldiers. No, the dead were rising but no one was controlling them. Plus she knew there wasn't anyone else like her in this world, so a death sect popping up of all times? unlikely
"It's just fucking zombies!" Nora shouted as she came to the end of the hall and saw both a horrific sight. A few dead had broken into this room, grotesquely feasting on the body of the classroom teacher, and the few children she was in charge of. If Nora hadn't been a cultivator for thousands of years, she would have been scarred at the sight of the half eaten children. Thankfully she was cold to the act and moved with arms as hard as steel as she ripped apart the threat that was present. The slaughter was quick and she now stood with blood soaked arms, in a blood soaked room, with not a sign of living to be seen. Gazing at the bodies, she started to shake as she checked each one of the small half eaten children for the worst sight of this new life.
Each face she knew as she had picked up Buck a few times. Trisha, Mark, Nina, Josh, Jenna. all were bright smiles and happy children, now dead and likely to rise given enough time. Still she checked each face and had not found Buck yet. It was a good sign, but maybe he was moved to a different classroom, or had been taken to the bathroom and already turned and risen to feast on the living. She kept her breath steady as she turned to leave and check the rest of the rooms when she heard the sweetest sound of the day.
"*Hunk* ~AUNTY~!" Buck cried out as a cabinet door burst open, showing a scared, toe headed, Buck. The little scamp loved to play hide and seek at home with her when he didn't want her or his father to catch him after he did something bad. That same instinct had saved him today. Buck crawled out and ran to Nora with tears blinding him fully. He made it barely a step when Nora met him and picked him up to hold close. The boy buried his face into her shoulder crying harder and harder at the horror around them.
"Shhh, aunties got you Bucky, you're safe from the monsters now" Nora said calmly as she dashed out of the room. As the boy cried she rubbed his back softly hoping he was still young enough to suppress or cope from today's horrors. Her speed had to slow given Buck being in her arms, but none of the recently risen teachers and children managed to block the two from running outside the daycare, nor to Nora's truck. Opening it quickly she put Buck in his booster seat, and then leapt over the roof to get to the driver's side. As she got in she pulled out her phone and called her brother. It didn't ring more than a second before he picked up.
"Nora! Get to Buck NOW! Things are going to Fucking HELL!" Her brother shouted out as the sound of gunfire cracked out from his end.
"I know, I've got him" Nora said as she quickly checked over her nephew and found not a single scratch. her arms had stained his clothes red, but he himself was fine. "It's fucking zombies! get home and get home quick! we need to regroup" Nora shouted before starting the truck and hitting the gas as the first few dead from the daycare ran out to find their first meal.
"Oh god bless small miracles!" her brother shouted as more gunfire sounded out. "I'll be home soon, keep him and yourself-" was all that got out before a dial tone rang out before being replaced by an auto message. "We're sorry, but there seems to be a problem with your local cell tower. Please wait as we try to fix the situation." Nora ended the call and hoped that her brother was going to make it. No, he would, that man wouldn't be stopped by a few dead fucks. For now she just had to get home, and then figure out what to do next together...
(A/N- Okay so like I've said before but I'm going to be sending them to anime worlds after the Zombieland movies, for both fun and to give them a power boost to have when I start dropping them in supernatural horror, superhero, fantasy, etc. Now, I've always liked cultivation as a catch all power base. It can fit almost anywhere and I'll be giving a dumb down and easy to understand version for this fanfic. I'm going to add anime Shonen powers to flavor it but I hope no ones turned off on this path, as I'm enjoying people reading my first fanfic, and don't want them to git bored. Please know that like I said before they will be suppressed when necessary so nothings a cake walk. Even Nora will be suppressed in the next chapter when the Cineplex grabs onto her soul. Now onto another subject...I've recently got into the "Wifu Catalog" and a few fanfics that have done it in a way I like. I'm thinking about starting writing my own as a secondary story so I don't burn myself out writing this Fanfic. It would be a shift to a solo male, power fantasy, catch a few, sex scene included story to help my writing in that subject matter. Would anyone find this interesting to read? or should I just write this for myself only to practice... let me know and hope everyone is enjoying the Story.)
