" I call this session of the wizengamot for the trial of Sirius Orion Black third of his name, for the murders of the Potter household, peter pettigrew and twelve muggles" says Madam Bones," how does the defendant plea?"
" Not guilty," Madam Bones," says my Father Sirius," I'm willing to be trialed under veritaserum."
" The court recognizes this statement, administer the veritaserum." Says Madam Bones.
" Um hum. I believe Mr Sirius Black can't make that request it is only for head of house or heirs apparent by law," says a large pink toad, Delores Umbridge," it is of note that the late walburga black disowned her son so the black house title goes to young Draco Malfoy."
" Wrong madam under secretary, this file contains a gringotts vault exam and inheritance test which the results state that Mr Sirius Black is infact head of the house and his son is the heir." Says Madam Bones," give him the veritaserum."
They give him the serum and his eyes gain a glazed look.
" What is your name?" Says Madam Bones.
" Sirius Orion Black " says my Father.
" Where were you on the night of October 31st, 1998?" Asks Madam Bones.
" Early in the day I was with my son and we were going to go trick or treating in America visiting my wife who works abroad at nighttime. When I get there and we were out a charmed necklace that the late Lily Potter gave me started to glow. This necklace was charmed to warm me if they were ever in trouble. After making sure my wife and child were taken care of I portkeyed back to the black house and went straight to godric's hallow. There i came upon the destroyed house and rubeus hagrid carrying my goddaughter Helena Potter. After a very brief conversation I lent hagrid my motorbike that I customized so he could take Helena to safety In case of any death eaters about." Says my father as he retells his story.
" What about Peter pettigrew? He has accused you of murdering the potter's by telling their hiding places before you murdered him and twelve muggles." Says Delores Umbridge haughtily," plus why believe the words of a half giant."
Many of the crowd mumbles their opinions but none truly speak out.
" I did not murder Peter pettigrew, on November 1st I prepared to confront Peter knowing he was the secret keeper at mine and James trusted faith. I knew if I was the secret keeper I would most likely be targeted by Voldemort and his death eaters. So I went to his apartment and seen he was hastily packing and when I tried to confront him he ran outside and accused me of murder before casting a laughing curse at me then destroying then gas line that killed the muggles. Last I saw was him cutting his own finger off and fleeing in his animagus form which is a rat." Says my Father.
" Where is the evidence of Peter pettigrew being a death eater?" Says Delores Umbridge, many nod at the statement.
" It is right here as evidence in the journal of the late regulus black and verified by blood magic in which it was written." Says Madam Bones before reading journal to the court, "It is a great joy to be in the dark lords plans for the prosperity of the wizarding world, today he marked us with a symbol of his power. Peter pettigrew joined in as well out of jealousy and promises of greatness. He's nothing but a coward and a rat just like his animagus form which he showed."
Many of the court cry out in outrage as the dark families that followed Voldemort were about to shit themselves. A man stands and says," madam Bones I believe the court can vote on wether this man is innocent or not."
She nods and calls for a vote. Many of the dark aligned families voted against his innocence,but they were beaten by the vote of both the gray and light aligned families. I smile at the news as they administer the antidote for veritaserum on my father.
" Lord black this court and the ministry find you not guilty and will pay you recompense for the time you tenured in Azkaban. You will be reinstated as the head of the Black family and you'll be required to take regular psychiatric/ therapy visits to a mind healer in St mungo's for a time until your fit to be released back into society. On behalf of this Court we are sorry for this injustice. " Says the minister trying to save face and kiss ass.
As we leave I walk up to my father and say ," i guess I got my good looks from mom apparently."
My father laughs and hugs me as we leave the courtroom. I spend the rest of the day cathing up with him on what he has missed and is in Glee that I'm getting a harem started.
" Don't let your mother find out she might skin me alive for whatever reason." He says jokingly.
" Too late I say, plus I believe you're on the couch when you meet up with her " I say but he laughs and says," hell yes, that's were the best shags of my life were. You may be getting a little sibling. That's if Azkaban hasn't destroyed my little swimmers."
I didn't need to know that hopefully it isn't some strange tradition or family curse that I see them on the couch going at it then come nine months later a new sibling. I shudder at the thought.
