Chapter 1 - Rebirth/Transmigration-I

In the vast expanse of the Cosmos, a soul of an unknown origin was traversing in the unending space, devoid of any light.

Suddenly the soul was pulled towards a nearby planet, which was a ball of green and blue colour, expected to be harbouring living beings.

The soul despite the harsh surroundings did not sustain any damage, which was due to the interference of the Object inside the core of this soul, the shape of the object was that of pitch black seed glowing with a deadly purple hue.

The soul was then pulled into the atmosphere of this peculiar planet, the seed was constantly emitting certain energy which somehow camouflaged the soul to its surroundings, as if it did not want to announce its existence to anyone.

If one takes a closer look, they would see that the soul was incomplete. As the large portion of the Soul Core was missing and the black seed was actually maintaining it from crumbling.

Soul Core is the truest Origin of a being, it actually signifies the characteristics of the particular individual, it decides what affinity someone will have or what talent he/she would awaken. If the soul core of a being is destroyed, then that being would completely cease to exist and not even be able to reincarnate as the origin of a being is the soul core.

As the soul entered the Planet, it was pulled towards the biggest continent on the entire planet.

(somewhere in the continent-Avarice)

[Dungeon of Death,Mist-Achlys]}

In the world's most treacherous dungeon, the Dungeon of Death, there stood a mysterious figure. Their identity remained hidden beneath a hooded black cloak, making it impossible to discern their features.

This enigmatic individual found themselves on the dungeon's zeroth floor, a level characterized by scorching temperatures and a barren landscape reminiscent of a desert. No signs of life could be found anywhere near the hooded figure, not even a slithering snake or a prickly cactus.

As far as the eye could see, nothing but sand and dust stretched out in every direction.

The figure sharply turned its head towards a certain direction, it's eyes glowed deadly purple for a moment under its concealed hood as it sense something coming towards its direction.

Thump-thump

Thump-thump

Thump-thump

Thump-thump

The sound of footsteps accompanied by the shaking of the very land on which he was standing as if it was the emergence of an earthquake that shook the entire zeroth floor of the Dungeon of Death.

(AN:- The figure will be refered to as he, since it's gender is made known to you through this author 😜.)

The sound of the footsteps and the emerging earthquake suddenly ceased to exist, the hooded figure tried to perceive the source of the previous commotion, but what he got was just an eerie silence his heart began to beat loudly as if to break out of its cage, he sensed an extreme danger in the surroundings.

Just as he was about to run in different direction, the ground below his feet began to cave in and what he saw nearly made him pass out in fear.

As the ground below him disappeared in what seems to be a pitch black hole was nothing but the mouth of a giant creature, it was extremely large crocodile which could even dwarf the largest buildings in the continent of Avarice.

As the figure was falling into the mouth of the crocodile monster, he was about to move mid-air, but the monster closed its mouth at very fast speed and the teeth of the monster which was sharper than any blade tore through his stomach splashing blood in every direction.

The monster open its mouth again to swallow the figure and just as the figure fall into its mouth, the monster went inside the ground and disappeared for unprecedented amount of time.

The entire area was silent not even the sound of wind could be perceived.

Some distance away from the spot, near the shadow of the largest sand dune on this floor there lay the same hooded man from before, but his current situation could only be said by two words; nearing death.

He lay flat on puddle of his own blood, he was seriously injured by the monster. His body under his waist was missing and his internal organs were spread out in a mess. Yet he cling onto his fragile life stubbornly, his face once covered by the hood was now visible.

He has raven black hair that falls just above his chin, framing his angular face perfectly. His piercing blue eyes seem to hold an otherworldly glow, hinting at the mysterious power that flows through his veins. His complexion is pale, and his features if not for the current situation could be described as chiseled to perfection.

He appears to be just a 12 years old child who hasn't even seen the cruelty of the world, yet is facing such a dangerous situation.

The boy barely breathing moved his mouth and spoke in barely audible voice;

"Am I gonna die just like ... huff... this? Cough* cough* ....haa, that damn ...hah! Cough* Imperial .. Family haa."

His vision turn blurred and his once vibrant eyes turned dulled and lifeless and noticing his condition he spoke the name of his only remaining family in a self- deprecating manner;

"Sister ..... . . Estelle."

Just like that he closed his eyes unwilling and lost sensation of his body.

(AN:- What would be next; would he really die? And how did he manage to escape from the mouth of that monstrosity? And what about the pitch black seed that's glowing with a purple hue? If you want to find out, then stay tuned for the next chapter!)
