I lost track of time in that dingy room, unsure if it was day or night as I awaited my uncertain fate. Every door slam and approaching footstep sent my heart racing, my throat tightening with each passing moment. I couldn't shake off the relentless fear gripping me.
I tried to make sense of why my father had abandoned me here, left at the mercy of cruel strangers. The room felt suffocating, filled only with the incessant sound of dripping water and my own shallow breaths. Each passing minute weighed heavily on my spirit.
Chloe's words echoed in my mind, a haunting reminder of my grim reality. "You're going to die here or at the hands of a wealthy man you'll be sold," her cruel taunt reverberated through my thoughts, breaking my heart with its brutal truth. The uncertainty of my future gnawed at my soul, leaving me in a state of despair and helplessness.

In a dimly lit office within the building, a middle-aged man walked in. "Nice of you to swing by, Ace," she remarked casually.
He said "Let's skip the small talk and get down to business."
She replied "Do you have the money?"
"Do you have my merchandise?" Ace replied, returning her wink with a smirk of his own.
Chloe's grin widened. "You bet I do,"a playful glint in her eyes.
Curiosity piqued,Ace inquired, "So where's Cassian? I wonder why he left you in charge."
Chloe leaned back in her chair, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. "He's away for business," she explained. "She's been driving him crazy, so he wants her gone before he's back."
Ace frowned slightly. "I tried to call him, but to no avail," he admitted.
"No need to disturb him for that,Ace," Chloe assured him, rising from her seat. "Let's forget about business for now and have some fun."
Her suggestive tone caught Ace off guard, and he stammered, "W-what are you doing, Chloe?"
Chloe's eyes sparkled as she moved closer, her intentions clear. "Isn't it obvious?" she teased. "I've always wanted you."
Flustered and taken aback, Lucien hesitated. "W-what about Cassian?" he managed to ask.
"Oh,Ace," Chloe purred, closing the distance between them. "Cassian isn't here. It's just you and me."
Before Ace could protest further, Chloe silenced him with a kiss, their lips locking in a heated embrace. "We should celebrate our business victory," she whispered, her voice laced with seduction, as they lost themselves in the moment.
The room echoed with the sound of a camera clicking as Lucas captured the compromising moment. "Boss is going to love this," he remarked with a smirk.
Ace was not amused. "What the fuck are you doing?" he demanded, his anger obvious .
Chloe's purring voice cut through the tension. "Oh,Ace, did you think I enjoyed kissing you?" she taunted, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "I kissed you because I need you to keep shut. You would run your mouth to Cassian as soon as you're out of here."
Ace's expression darkened. "Cassian doesn't know about this deal, does he?" he questioned.
Chloe maintained her cool demeanor. "No way I would let you out of here without a backup plan," she asserted, her eyes flashing with determination. "You're delusional to think I would ruin my relationship with Cassian for you. So, get the girl and get out of here."
Angrily,Ace retorted, "You'll pay for this. Cassian will soon find out who you really are."
Ignoring his threats, Chloe issued her final instructions to Lucas. "You heard him, now run along and get her". " And Ace,I will advise you to sell her fast. Cassian will soon be back," she said with a laugh, her confidence unwavering as she dismissed them.
