Saturday rolled around and Luna found himself at his desk pulling out his laptop from his bag and arranging some stationary to take notes with. The week had gone by in a blur and there were some lectures he wanted to revise.
Last night's talk had gone on late into the night and Luka had been chased out by the Dorm Lead who heard them talking and realised the guest car must have belonged to someone in Luna's room.
Luka had apologised profusely but Luna was still mad at him. Luka had only known about the seriousness of Luna's presence at the ball only a few minutes before he had called Luna yesterday, and that was the reason he had been nervous the whole journey over to the dinner.
"I swear if there is a way I can help you out of this, just let me know and I'll do it" Luna recalled Luka tearfully saying.
Luna sighed and leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.
"Why is it always me, who has to fix messes that other people put me in?" Luna had said, and the old wound felt like it was peeling open again.
Luna tried to push the memory of last night and all the problems it had brought along with it to the back of his mind. He logged into the student portal and started queuing up lectures to get his mind off his family problems.
12 hours of non-stop studying later found Luna clutching his stomach and groaning as he fell over onto the floor. Not only had he not had a shower yet, he had forgotten that the human body needs fuel!
Luna reached out for his phone and called the only reliable person he knew.
"Luna? What's up?" Judy said on the other side of the line.
"I'm dying…" Luna said as he rolled around on the floor, clutching his aching stomach.
" I…have company.." Judy said and then after a muffled voice in the background said something Judy added " Ok we'll be right over" and hung up.
"We?" Luna said but the line was already dead.
10 minutes later Judy unlocked Luna's door and came in brandishing bags from the convenience store down the street.
"We?" Luna asked weakly from the same spot on the floor.
"Yeah, hi Luna! We meet again" Anna said as she popped out from behind Judy.
Luna groaned and rolled under his table, trying to hide. Of course, Anna must have been working on the project with Judy.
"Now do you want to continue to die on the floor or do you want to eat these three salmon onigiris that I bought for you from the convenience store?" Judy said as she dupped the food on Luna's coffee table and flopped onto his sofa.
Luna immediately perked up and crawled out from under the table. Nothing could get between him and his love for salmon onigiri!
