After their time together, members of the super began to retreat back to their room , Erin included when she felt a hand pull her to the end of the corridor.
"Jason..."Erin called out seeing who it was and a frown appeared on her face."Jason, what do you want?"She questioned with her arms folded.
"You..."Jason said moving closer to her but she shoved him off."I want you , Erin.I miss you..." Jason said looking like a lost puppy but that didn't reduce the anger she felt I'm her heart .
"Why? Cos Rebecca isn't here to fulfill your needs?" Erin snapped slightly agitated.
"No,Erin. That is not it ... I came because I miss you. Because I love you ,so much more that I cannot think straight with you far from me."Jason professed while slowly sliding the strands of her that had fallen to the side in her ponytail, behind her ear.
"Yet you can't open up...Jason, I can't believe you're still keeping our relationship a secret. It hurts me to see you parading around with Rebecca as if she's the only one in your life."Erin said stepping away from him.
" Erin, please, it's not what you think. I do love you, it's just that I'm waiting for the right time to break up with Rebecca." Jason defended.
"Waiting for the right time? How can you say that when you're still stringing her along while claiming to love me?"Erin scoffed with a glare.
" I know it's difficult to understand, but please trust me. I will end things with Rebecca soon and we can be together openly."Jason pleaded.
" I don't know if I can trust you anymore, Jason. Seeing you with Rebecca only makes me doubt your intentions even more." Erin said as her eyes glistened like she was going to cry moments from now.
"Erin, I swear I will make things right. Just give me a chance to prove to you how much I truly care about you." Jason said pulling Erin into a hug.
" It's not just about you and me, Jason. You're betraying Rebecca, my best friend, as well. How could you do this to both of us?" Erin sobbed.
Despite the hurt and anger, Erin couldn't ignore the love she felt for Jason. She knew their relationship was wrong, but she couldn't resist the pull of their connection. Despite the betrayal to her best friend, Erin found herself entangled in a web of emotions she couldn't easily escape.
In the elegantly set historical lunchroom, Lucian and Tracy sit across from each other, surrounded by plush furnishings and soft golden lighting. The ambiance is quiet and refined, with the clinking of silverware and murmur of other diners creating a gentle background noise.
Lucian, usually the life of the party, is uncharacteristically silent as he takes small bites of his food, a thoughtful expression on his face. Tracy, on the other hand, can't seem to take her eyes off him. Her gaze lingers on his lips as he chews his steak, feeling a sudden surge of desire that takes her by surprise.
Sensing her gaze on him, Lucian looks up and catches her staring. A mischievous twinkle lights up his eyes as he raises an eyebrow in question. "Enjoying the view?" he teases, a smirk playing on his lips.
Tracy blushes furiously, flustered by his insinuation. She tries to deflect the topic, mumbling something about the decor of the restaurant. But Lucian doesn't let her off that easy. He gets up from his seat and casually strolls over to stand next to her, leaning in close.
"Are you wishing you were the spoon?" he whispers, his breath ghosting over her ear, sending shivers down her spine.
Tracy's heart races as she meets his gaze, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and desire.Making her wonder if it was because of the existence of malischa's soul in her. She can't deny the attraction between them, the tension crackling in the air like electricity. And as Lucian leans in even closer, their lips almost touching, she can't help but wonder where this teasing banter will lead them. However, just as Tracy felt a flicker of excitement at his proximity, Lucian made a comment that struck a nerve.
"Wishing it's Shadley?" he remarked with a knowing smile, referencing a mutual acquaintance. Tracy's heart sank as the mention of Shadley killed the mood. The playful banter turned sour, and Tracy felt a wave of disappointment wash over her.
The mention of Shadley, someone from their past, hit a nerve with Tracy. The flirtatious tension between her and Lucian dissipated, and an awkward silence settled over the table. Tracy's appetite completely vanished as she struggled to mask her emotions in front of Lucian.
As Lucian made the poking comment about Shadley, Tracy felt a twinge of hurt and disappointment. The playful banter had taken a wrong turn, and she could sense the mood souring between them. Feeling a mix of frustration and impulsiveness, Tracy decided to poke back at Lucian, trying to regain some control over the situation.
"Wishing I was Malischa?" she shot back, her tone laced with a hint of defiance. Lucian's demeanor darkened at the mention of Malischa, an ex-girlfriend of his, and Tracy instantly regretted her words. She had crossed a line, and she could see the hurt flicker in Lucian's eyes.
Realizing she had overstepped, Tracy quickly apologized, her voice soft with regret. But Lucian remained silent, his expression unreadable. Without a word, he got up from his seat and walked out of the lunchroom, leaving Tracy sitting alone at the table, filled with guilt and remorse.
As Tracy watched him leave, the weight of her words hung heavy in the air. She knew she had crossed a line and caused unnecessary pain with her thoughtless comment. Regret washed over her, and she wished she could take back her words and the hurt they had caused.
Tracy sat there in silence, the lunchroom now feeling empty and cold without Lucian's presence. The playful banter had turned into a painful exchange, leaving Tracy to grapple with the consequences of her impulsive words. She had lost the connection with Lucian, and the guilt weighed heavily on her heart as she wished she could undo the hurt she had caused.
As Tracy mustered the courage to apologize to Lucian in his room, she could sense a shift in the atmosphere the moment she walked in. Lucian's gaze lingered on her, but there was a different spark in his eyes, a familiarity that made her feel like she was being seen as someone else, not herself, but Malischa.
Before Tracy could process this strange sensation, Lucian quickly closed the distance between them, his movements filled with desire and longing. Tracy stood frozen, unsure of how to react as he drew near.
Without a word, Lucian leaned in and kissed her, his lips conveying a depth of emotion that stirred something within Tracy. A rush of pleasurable feelings awakened deep inside her, a warmth spreading through her as she surrendered to the intensity of the moment.
"I missed you, my love," Malischa's voice echoed in the room, the words spoken as if from a distant memory. Tracy felt a surge of confusion and wonder as she realized that something extraordinary was happening, a transformation taking place within her.
Unbeknownst to her, Tracy's traits were slowly beginning to change, her essence blending with that of Malischa's. As the kiss deepened, a sense of oneness enveloped them, and Tracy found herself responding to Lucian's touch with a familiarity that transcended her own identity.
In that moment, as Tracy and Lucian shared this intimate connection, a supernatural energy seemed to flow between them, binding their souls in a way that defied explanation. And as Malischa's spirit awakened within her, Tracy felt a profound sense of love and longing that seemed to transcend time and space.
As the kiss lingered, Tracy began to realize that her encounter with Lucian was not just a simple apology but a meeting of souls intertwined across lifetimes, reigniting a love that had spanned centuries. And in that embrace, Tracy embraced her newfound identity as Malischa, surrendering to the passion and destiny that awaited her with Lucian by her side.
And in the prophecy book a new writing can be seen "The fate of one unknown, cloaked in shadows, doth lie in wait, whilst only the passage of time may reveal their final hour."
