Tracy looked Shadley in the eyes before giving him an approving nod. Shadley took deep breathes and let his powers take control but surprisingly there was ... Nothing. Not even a single vision concerning the Hydra, how she got there or how she managed to kill it.
Shadley opened his eyes with a confused gaze. He didn't get a vision , it was as if all memories concerning that was blurred out or wiped.
" Anything?" Tracy asked hoping to find out also what had happened." No... There was nothing... I didn't see a thing." Shadley replied confused himself.
" Are you sure ?" Tracy asked." Come on. Try again." She pleaded with a tone of desperation. Shadley gave it several more trials but didn't see a thing.
" Tracy for some reasons I do not seem to understand my powers aren't working on you so you've got to try and remember. You've got to remember yourself." Shadley advised with a concerned look on his face. Tracy closed her eyes to focus, she tried hard to remember but it was as of that memory was wiped out.
She closes her eyes and tries to remember, but instead, a sharp pain shoots through her head. She clutches her temples, wincing in discomfort as fragments of memories flash before her eyes. Her expression is clouded with confusion and frustration. She takes a deep breath, trying to push through the pain and piece together the puzzle of her lost memories.
" Tracy! " Shadley called out staring at her in worry. " I think you're trying too hard . Just rest and I believe your memories will slowly come back to you. Okay." Shadley assured. He gave her a glass of water.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow through the window of the small bed, Shadley carefully laid his Tracy on the bed. Her face was pale, her eyes tired from the fight with the Hydra. The boy's heart ached as he watched her struggle to find a comfortable position.
Gently, he tucked the blankets around her, ensuring she was warm and cozy. He placed a cool cloth on her forehead, hoping to bring her some relief from the heat radiating off her skin. The boy sat by her side, his hand reaching out to hold hers in a gesture of comfort and support.
As her breathing began to slow and her eyelids drooped with exhaustion, the boy whispered words of encouragement and reassurance. He promised to stay by her side, to keep watch over her through the night. Tracy's eyes fluttered open for a moment, a weak smile playing on her lips as she squeezed his hand in gratitude.
In that quiet moment, as the room filled with the soft sounds of their breathing and the gentle rustle of the curtains in the breeze, Shadley knew that he would do anything to help his friend feel better. His act of kindness in laying her on the bed was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes of his love and care for her.
And as the night deepened and the stars twinkled in the sky outside, Shadley remained by his Tracy's side, a silent guardian watching over her as she tested. Seeing she had fallen asleep he carefully left the room right after taking a last glance at her.
" Tell us... What did you see?" Sharpay inquired.
" Nothing." Shadley answered with disappointment written on his face.
" What do you mean nothing? " Dianne asked again.
" Nothing. My powers didn't work on her .I didn't see a thing. It was as if that question was blanked out or wiped out. " Shadley tried to explain." Yeah. To think your power finally had some use." Rebecca mocked.
" Really Rebecca," Shadley scoffed." Now why don't you try hypnotizing her. See if it works." Shadley fired in anger. He was not one to get angry easily but Rebecca had pushed his button.
"Oh really, just because your little ability failed to work doesn't mean mine is gonna fail too." Rebecca spat.
" You too just stop it already." Daisy yelled stopping the argument from escalating." We need to know what really happened and not listen to your little argument. So what ever it is you guys got going on here, fix it." Dianne said with an authoritative voice." Dianne..." Daisy called out facing Dianne." Is there a way we can help Shadley penetrate her mind?" Daisy inquired.
" Sure." Dianne replied almost immediately for her ot was an east job. " Please do it. The rest of you let's meet in the meeting room in two hours." Daisy announced before dismissing them . She began walking away but Shadley followed behind.
" Hey Daisy can we talk?" With a look of sincerity in his eyes, reached out to hold his girlfriend's hands gently. She looked down, unable to meet his gaze, her insecurities weighing heavily on her mind.
"I'm sorry," he began, his voice soft and filled with regret. "I know I haven't always been the best at showing you how much you mean to me. I've made mistakes, and I understand why you feel the way you do."
Tears welled up in her eyes as she listened to his words, her heart aching with a mixture of pain and longing. She had built walls around herself, afraid to let anyone in, afraid to be hurt again. But in that moment, as she looked into his eyes, she saw nothing but love and sincerity.
"I want you to know that I am here for you, always," he continued, his voice unwavering. "I want to be the one who makes you feel secure, who makes you feel loved and cherished. I will do whatever it takes to earn back your trust and show you how much you mean to me."
Her heart swelled with emotion as she felt the weight of his words sink in. In that moment, she realized that she was not alone, that she had someone who truly cared for her and was willing to fight for their relationship. Slowly, she lifted her gaze to meet his, her eyes filled with tears of gratitude and hope.
"I love you," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "And I will spend every day proving it to you, showing you that you are the most important person in my life. But Tracy, she needs someone by her side right now. You know she lost her mom and is yet to discover her power; it's a lot to handle..." Shadley tried explaining but she cut him short.
" You know I didn't come here with you to talk about Tracy." Daisy snapped with her arms folded under her chest. Shadley took deep breathes before continuing." All I'm trying to say is that she needs us... She needs you, her friend but instead you fire her insults and say other hurtful words." Shadley tried to explain in a calm voice on hearing that Daisy's eyebrows furrowed.
" So you called me here to blame me." Daisy said holding herself from tearing up." Is it my fault my boyfriend doesn't pay attention to me? Or is it my fault he's always doing some..." Research" about god knows what,or is it my fault I saw my boyfriend holding handsun the theatre alone with the same girl that sees me as a friend?" Daisy questioned angrily as she kept hitting his chest. Shadley just stood there and let her vent her anger on him but when he got tired if her tantrums he spoke back.
"For once Daisy would you quit being insecure and act like a leader that you are. " Shadley yelled back at her. That's time Daisy kept quiet and glared at him. He sucked his teeth as it was the only way he could contain his anger at the moment." You know what , I think you're right. It is for the best we broke up " Shadley added before walking off. Daisy bent on her knees and cried out.
Meanwhile at Tracy's room ,she was still resting when she heard someone call her name.
" Tracy..." The voice called in a soft low tone. Tracy turned and saw a ghostly like figure of the woman she had seen earlier with victory roll up and a stained White gown.
"Alicia Leonard..." Tracy called out in shock.
