Looking up, he set his sights on a spot three to four meters above his head, where there was just a small protruding rock that seemed fairly sturdy.

He calculated that with his current ability, he could easily jump to that spot, but there was no foothold, he would have to embrace the protruding rock with one hand, which was about the size of a fist.

He sized it up and thought he could manage to grab onto the rock with one hand. So, without further hesitation, he gathered his energy, pushed off with his legs forcefully, and his body sprang forward and upward. His left hand shot out and fiercely grabbed the small stone, his body swayed a few times, but his palm held on tightly, and then, like a gecko, he clung to the cliff face, with a close call.
